Because in terms of capability it should be about equal to other 13.7 aircraft, BR is determined by peers, not by downtiers

The only reason I had any interest in the Hornet was because the CF-188 could have gone to the UK. But with additions and things happening, my little hope has slowly become that I don’t want it or anything Canadian added to the game until we get a home. (like 0.5% of the hope is still CF-188 to UK but…)
Eh, looks like Harry Hopkins(and maybe the French car) are the only things I’ll have any interest in with this update.

That’s… the exact mindset that causes even worse BR compression
For me at the moment, its just the chance of for some of the naval reworks that have been rumoured to be coming Soon™. EFT radar overhaul might be good as well, but might also do nothing.
I can see this being an update I barely touch
It really isn’t, I could suggest it go to 15.0 or whatever it’s decompressed BR should be, but that doesn’t actually make sense
BR decompression is separate to where new aircraft should go
They have to fit into the current compressed system, they can be moved with all the other aircraft when Gaijin do some decompression

It goes to 15.0 along with all other top-tier aircraft. Su-27SM to 14.3, Su-30SM to 15.0, F-15E at 14.7, that way aircraft like the MiG-29 aren’t facing 8 AIM-120s on a match-by-match basis.
Will Russians stop complaining now they have a Jet that carries 14 missiles…TVC and a PESA Radar.
“R-77 is so bad though and F-15E with 120s is just better”…Despite the fact a Single Su-30 now has enough missiles to destroy a team in Air RB.
Meanwhile Typhoon has a wnk Radar and 6 120s…If this update doesn’t fix everything wrong with Typhoon it’s going to be a long ass wait for one with an AESA Radar.
Still cannot believe they didnt add the Gripen E and F-2 to this update.
Rapier would have been exciting 2 years ago another 10.3 SAM with a 5km range…

Yeah I get it, we need decompression, but it probably isn’t going to be part of the major update with the introduction of a bunch of aircraft they have no performance data on yet
At best it’ll be in the next round of BR changes whenever that is, but until then the F/A-18C late is probably a 13.7 aircraft, 14.0 if they give it over the top engine performance
The teaser does make the update look… small. It showed what only 4 vehicles I think? Hard to say I wasn’t looking close enough at the hornets to determine their variant.

Having seen dev server footage the Su-30 is going to be an OP broken mess with an FM that makes the Typhoon and Rafale combined look realistic.

We only have 2 nations, the other 8 only get vehicles from these 2, just so you can grind them all over again.

Yeah… not to forget, Japan and Israel only have F-15’s…
With Japan not even having AGM’s, only 4 on the C&P Swedish gripen with a Thai skin.
Both the Hornets in the trailer were Cs, just a Gulf War one, and a AMRAAM one for the Marines, potentially with AESA though obviously can’t tell that from the trailer
Because the US got its 14.0 aircraft the update before and last update was one of the first in 2-3 years where the US didnt get anything
But EFT is underperforming a lot and is barely usable
