They underperform worse than any other aircraft in game.
Get this the Harrier 2s have an AOA limiter that is actually their IRL light buffet onset lmao.

F-35B should still be in line 4, got nothing to do with how broken the Harriers are

So don’t grind any of them is my advice. Until they fix:
Time to climb
Time to speed
VIFF pitch rate
ITR
STR
IR sig (4x more than irl)
I am against them adding it personally. There is 0 real and reliable data we have on them as they are brand new and very classified IRL.
What’s the point of adding it if it can not be added in a remotely correct or accurate state.
One day absolutely would be cool to have. For now why don’t we see if gaijin will update all old models to the new system.
As well as update cockpit interiors (P-51 for example looks 20 years old)
Many planes don’t have HUDs ect.
honestly i would personally love an update that just focuses on fixing and updating old vehicles that have been around for years in the game

They’re 10 years old now, and theres enough info that they can be added, also Gaijin aren’t going to stop adding things just because they can’t be fully accurate, we’re already in that territory.
And that “one day” when we have significantly better data on the aircraft is going to be at least 10 years away, likely longer, which is a hell of a long time to wait

I can understand that perspective.
How good will it be in War Thunder anyways the maps are not exactly large enough for the stealth to really function. The F-35 doesn’t seen to have “Meta” flight performance. I love the F-35 and would play it in SIM where it can shine and dominate however.
Many of my favorite aircraft have terrible looking cockpits so they are not fun to fly in SIM (P39)
I mean tbh the maps aren’t right for the current top tier aircraft
I’m hoping for changes to the game mode at top tier to support more modern equipment, because at this rate we’ll never get past the AIM120B and the AIM-9M because the maps and the gameplay just can’t support better weaponry

Agree completely. Also planes like the MIG-25 would need a larger map.
I want a SIM focused update soon too. War Thunder is the only remaining good competitor to DCS.

The only way I see a sim focused update happening is if they extend EC to RB as well, sim just doesn’t have the player base to justify it’s own update unfortunately
But yeah, bigger maps and removing enemy markers are the bare minimum changes I think ARB needs
