if we got a -220 F-15E, i think we might have gotten an AESA F-15C to compete with EFT and Rafale

if we got the 220 15E and no Ra’am, I dont think we’d have gotten the EFT or Rafale.
i think we still wouldve gotten them since they got the December spotlight reserved
Im still somewhat of the opinion that the EFT and Rafale were needed simply to counter the F-15Cs and that the F-15Cs should be 14.0.

F-15C vs Typhoon/Rafale is a far far smaller gap than ICE vs F-15C or even Gripen C vs F-15C.
havent you literally said the EFT is better than the F-15C in almost every way before it was added?
All those aircraft have pairs: F-15C/E, Typhoon, Rafale, and arguably Su-27SM.
Not only that but that’s barely 1/8th of a standard update in vehicles.
The next real step is AESA on strong platforms, and stealth; we’re at peak pre-stealth & AESA air the moment F-15C MSIP II was added.

uh no it isn’t. The Gripen C vs F-15C gap is WAY smaller than the F-15C vs the Typhoon.
Let me put it this way the gap between the 15E and 15C is gigantic, and the only difference of note is the damn engines on the E.
The E, while still a great plane, is at a DISADVANTAGE against the Typhoon.

“Storm Warning” - EF and Rafale, other features thai subtree.
“Firebirds” - improved F-15’s and Su-34, other features F-117, raytracing, lotta CAS.
“Dance of Dragons” - J-10, other features F-111, Su-24M, and GPS bombs.
“Seek and Destroy” - F-15C’s and Su-27SM, other features huge ARH update and loadouts change.
ofc there were other things in all of these updates, but most can be (rather roughly) grouped in with one of the other major additions, usually as an equivalent vehicle or copy paste added to another tree.
This is, of course, still a drastic simplification, but I can’t know everything gaijin is doing all the time.
My prediction:
“Blah Blah Blah” - late F-18 and Su-30, other features legacy F-18 and improved radar mechanics.
even with the currently scuffed radar, the Typhoon dogs the 15Cs in BVR because it can just climb to altitude and launch the missile faster than the 15C can.

yeah, I did. a lot of things happen each update. not all of them are top tier or unique/a new jump in capability.

also, I’m not saying the F/A-18, Su-30, and F-18 will only be added to America and Russia respectively. I expect somewhat differentiated variants to be added to many trees, just like any other update.

Giving Russia a Su-30SM while China remains with the J-11A as their best Flanker is wild lol
China, Japan, Sweden are the only nations in air that don’t have 14.0+ yet and I would expect this update to give them actual 14.0s.
China, Japan, Sweden, Russia all lack 14.0s my friend.
They ALL need something.

F-15C MSIP II in its current state already competes with EFT and Rafale.
The one we have in-game didn’t have AESA IRL either, that’s a newer version that’s not currently in-game.
Typhoon is better in 1v1s, which air RB and air SB are not.
F-15C and Typhoon have a similar time to climb.
Gripen is about as fast as F-18C and F-16C for time to climb.
Gripen is vastly inferior to F-15C/E and Typhoon.
There is quite literally no notable difference between F-104S and F-4E… errr, F-15E and F-15C.
F-15E accelerates a bit faster at the expense of energy retention and maneuverability.
F-15C accelerates closer to Typhoon while retaining more energy and having more maneuverability.
Also Japan doesn’t lack a 14.0; F-15JM is just under-BR’d.
