Obviously. But (and this is from the perspective of someone who mostly drops GBUs from the AMX or Jaguar at that BR) I consider the 2S6 and OSA greater threats. But that probably does change if your main weapon is the AGM-65 and you are forced closer to the battlefield. I know with strafe attacks in the FRS1 that the Strelas and Ozelots are a pain in the arse to defend against
You do but its funny to say you don’t need it. I find its more fun to send US players back to the hanger with the A model when i find F-5E’s flying CAS in ground RB. Its pretty easy to bait E players i to using all their speed on a energy fight.
You don’t get to engage from too far away with the Viggen just because everything turns into a dark grey and lightish grey blob. You need to be able to see the target so its not a great thing. Also i find quite a few SPAA just shoot the AGM’s down.
Yeah, much harder for them to do that when you drop a 1000lb GBU down onto their heads from 25k ft

Yeah it is, though they need to fix TIALD to be gen 2 and just fully converted the GR1A into the GR1B as all thats missing from the GR1B currently is the Digital RWR. The Phimat pods gave quite a decent boost.
In GSB, the Jaguar IS also finds value as its basically the same aircraft but you get the gen 2 thermals, an extra GBU and all-aspect IRs.
Im going to get the F-5E after the F-111 and A-7 probably
Fair, i have all of them and the F-5E is amazing. Its a huge gap in performance imo to the A and for only a .3 br

Id honestly kill for more strike aircraft in the 10.x range, its in a weird state where they are both OP and not OP. Guess it depends on uptier or downtier.
Yeah. One of the reasons Im hoping for a Hawk sooner rather than later. Been enjoying the AMX in GSB, would be nice to have the Hawk for GRB/GSB at that BR range

Yeah, it does. Watch the Hawk 200 have less A2G than the AMX, but be a higher BR
I really doubt that. If it’s seriously that much worse, it’ll definitely be at a lower BR

You should see the F-15SA test livery then, USAF has best test livery imo, the orange and grey just works with everything
