F-2 and F-16 do not copy each other, F-2 has own modifications not connected to USA companies.
Yeah but also it is newer than the F-16 and the F-16 was upgraded with that tech around the same time if not before the F-2 came out.
But a F/A-18 at the lowest possible BR with just AIM-9Ls (or even just Gs) and Sparrows would legitimately be the most interesting out of all the possible Hornets

The F-2 has a 60/40 production split between Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Lockheed Martin. Lockheed martin is an American country meaning it does have connections.

It was an upgrade program designed to brin Taiwanese MLUs up to Block 70 standard, just happens that america wants to sell it to otther nations too

Depends, well the 17-pdr is a good gun, but the Archer’s lack of mobility is not.
So it’ll come down to the situation(map, how the battle is going, etc.) for what one to spawn in.
One with AIM-9H would be really nice but I’d rather skip the 9L and go straight to 9M and 7M which is what I’m hoping this one is. Desert Storm era

Yeah, the F-16 might eventually become the most exported aircraft. (one day) Lowkey makes me think about what other things lockheed has cooking if there selling aircraft that can detect the F-22 at closer ranges. What i’m thinking is that they have something else and arnt scared to sell the -16. (But this is a conspiracy theory)

So I wonder: do people really feel like “Top Tier has been too much of a focus at the expense of WW2/Cold War” even though it’s clearly the opposite?
But most importantly: when I look forward to Top Tier MBTs and SAMs, it’s not just because I put my “personal preferences” above other people’s; it’s because, objectively, there is a need for these vehicles for the sake of balance at Top Tier. Currently, C*S os too powerful and without proper counterparts; and some nations have significantly better MBTs than others even though these also have more balanced counterparts available.
Indeed- in that regard, there is something I have been waiting for and looking forward to more than highly needed MBT counterparts; SAMs. Yet HQ17, a 11.3 SAM, is the only one that has come over 2024. Meanwhile, SU-34s, SU-25SM3s, Rafales, etc, continue to destroy Top Tier ground matches almost unoppossed. Since CM Disclosure No.4 teased more capable SAMs (it took that long to realise that there was a balance problem with them at last), I really hope they will be coming soon and am looking forward to it.
And don’t get me wrong, I am glad that WW2 vehicles are coming for their enthusiasts to enjoy. But I just don’t understand why we are still pushing the narrative that “there is too much focus on Top Tier” when it’s the opposite.
