Major Update "Hornet Sting" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

I think it’s more a user interface issue, like for the same reason that many 4th gen aircraft have a WSO, the J-20S has one for data processing and tactical decisions as well as controlling wingman drones, which frees up the pilot to focus on just flying the aircraft

He’s really out to get me.
I’m going to vote no on a few of his suggestions.

Isn’t it Lightning II?
Since the American Lightning is the P-38
British Lightning is the English Electric one.

Britain also used the P-38, so that is one the English Electric is two and the F-35 is three

It’s usually not called the Lightning III though, just the F-35

The RAF would disagree with you though

But like I said the III isn’t used

Post naming standardization. Yes. Prestandardization no.

Official name of A-10 Thunderbolt II, official name of F-35 Lighting II.

If the Strategic Bomber tree/line also includes maritime patrol aircraft, that opens up quite a few possibilities for nations that wouldn’t have access to actual strategic bombers.

Also… why would they need a separate line or page? Most nations have a heavy bomber tree already, just fit them in there?
