Wow T-50-2 was real? I thought it was made up from World of Tanks.

They really should add the M339 HE-MP-T shells for nordic Leopards.
That has been a bug report for many years yet nada.

Oh joy, my ww2 ships will be getting hit with missiles they can do nothing against, just like my ww2 tanks.

im gonna be honest missiles in current naval are kinda gimmicks, sure they can do a ton of damage but they need to hit ammo which they cant hit below the water line so it only really works against ships with ammo racks right at the water line or above it, not to mention anything past a destroyer is pretty much immune

the ammo racks for the missiles are also massive powder kegs and are almost always above the water line so tbh I think DDGs are fine in game, and later ships are going to be even more exposed to the larger calibre guns they will be fighting, not to mention most ASMs arent designed to punch through traditional armour found on ww2 ships

In game it is, the hull is basically the same with a slight armour increase on the upper front plate, the driver port/gap is a huge weakness and the turret on CR2 actually has a larger weak spot, with TOGS near enough guaranteed to take out a breach or a crew member.
Mobility is a similar with the CR1 being more mobile, a lower profile target harder to hit.

Personally, I’m not much of a completionist. I generally only research and play the vehicles that interest me, so the growing number of squadron vehicles doesn’t bother me too much. That said, I can understand why it would be frustrating for players who want to collect them all, especially if they are trying to obtain them without spending money.

For context, these are the squadron vehicles I currently own (having played long before the system was implemented, and I was never part of a grinding squadron, just a casual one):

That said, I think the continued addition of squadron vehicles is ultimately a positive thing. They provide more options for nations that previously lacked them, help fill out line-ups without requiring players to grind an entire research line, and give premium players an additional vehicle to complement their line-up. This is particularly useful for players who purchase a top-tier premium and would otherwise have very limited spawn options.

On this point, I largely agree. The current squadron RP system feels outdated and is in need of modernization. The game has changed significantly since the system was introduced, and a much larger portion of the playerbase now participates in squadrons. The existing progression rate no longer reflects that reality and could certainly be revisited.

For anyone interested in the numbers behind this, Bruce_R1 covered the state of the squadron system at the start of 2026 here:

i asked smin before the devlog why it was added. he said “to fill the need for light tanks to israel in that br”
he said it wasnt 11.3, so there is a legitimacy for it to be added.
it is 10.7. there is not a single 10.7/10.3 israeli vehicle. your only option is to uptier it, to…
11.3.
and when i confronted him about it,
he refused to answer.

sums up gaijin pretty well

Do updates ever drop on a random Monday?

Or is it just better to wait for tuesday?

Mondays it happened maybe like once or twice as far as I can remember. Tuesday-Thursday is the usual window. Never a Friday (except that one time…)

Wait for Tuesday

but be aware it might the Tuesday after.

We’ll know its soon when the dev gets updated with the new aircraft skins, and for sure when the update notice drops the evening/~12 hours before

Yet.

If Gaijin were to go with your logic there would never be a Israeli ground vehicle between 10.0 and 11.3.

Oh, do not misunderstand me, I am FAR crom a completionist too!

I exclusively grind the vehicles that interest me, indeed.

Thing is, the current system prevents me from getting all those I am interested in, which as of now are;

-MiG-29M
-JAS-39D
-Oplot-M
-Upcoming M1A1 AIM
-Bhisma TWMP
-T-80UK

To get evenJUST those, it would take me over 22 months of full-efficiency grind… pretty much TWO entire years!

And every time Gaijin adds more Squadron vehicles I am interested in, the timer only further goes further and further…

I agree! I am not a completionist and I do not intend to acquire ALL Squadron vehicles, even less so quickly… but I would hope and expect to be able to get a few of them without two entire years having to pass.

It’s just a considerably worse Gripen C at the same BR. I can’t really talk since I’m massively selfdestructive, but even I’m not that selfdestructive.

You have top tier Japan right? the same tank is right there? It’s also the weakest top tier tank for China.

So, Gaijin shouldn’t add 10.7 vehicles because there is no proper 10.7 lineup? That doesn’t make any sense.

Its small indy company wdym. They are barely earning money man.

I mean, I have Sweden stuck at Rank II and with no plans to grind it (even less so with the only current Premium option), so I may as well get Gripen D to have some taste of Gripen, hahah.

But lineups!

Oplot-M would be a nice replacement for ZTZ-99-III on my lineups; not only when playing 12.7, but also 12.3 too (right now 12.3 is pointless, but if there’s ever some more decompression, it could be nice).

Also just to add. I do agree something should change since I’m also hopelessly behind when it comes to squadron vehicle research, especially now that I’m in a smaller squadron again.
