The F-15SG also doesn’t function exactly the same as the F-15E/I.
The reports for additional weaponry are open under review.
As mentioned already, some nations, like Sweden wont have any options.
But most nations will have something at least. What they are we cant go into detail at this time. Thats for next major.

AESA radar immediately makes it a significant upgrade over the F-15I, which is something the Israeli F-15 is sorely lacking and could do for an immediate rectification.
It is also not based off the F-15EX so it’s not an excuse either not to add it, will retain the same 8 missile capabilities which isn’t much, but it’s better than the current sad state of Israeli air. If anything it is LITERALLY the easiest vehicle to add RIGHT NOW for the next major.

It would be a nice sidegrade to a future F-15E RMP, maybe foldered. Doesn’t get quite as advanced avionics but engines and Tiger Eyes IRST are nice
Fun fact, RMP has a newer and better radar too, but the F-15SG literally has the radar we have in game right now, the AN/APG-63v3 which can already be found on the F-15C GE, so really there’s even less reason not to add F-15SG in game BY NOW.
iirc 15SG is the “final step” before EX in terms of A2A Power, since it should also bring MAWS, while still lacking the “wingtip” missile pylons that the EX can carry. @AquaUselessGod do you know if the 15SG has an even better engine over 15E? or i’m completely off with this one
SG uses the GE-129 engines, which is going to be overall better than the PW-229s in most scenarios. It’s also the same engine used by the F-15EX.

The F-15QA is the direct predecessor to the EX and is better than SG
The more fitting statement for the F-15SG would be “The most advanced Strike Eagle” rather than “The predecessor of the Eagle II”.

Either way the F-15SG probably still has room for growth in the future IRL depending on where our MINDEF and the RSAF wants to take it, the finalised step would be to upgrade them to EX avionics without the airframe and FBW improvements to allow for better datalink with the soon to be in service F-35s.
Or we’ll probably just end up ordering F-15EXs in the far future, who knows.
They should already have Link 16 capability. I doubt Singapore would get EX’s since the SG is already a fairly modern F-15 configuration and those airframes still have at least 20 more years
I’m not sure tbh, I do know our F-16s are upgraded with Link 16 capabilties.

To expand on this, is there a plan to lower Rank 6 helicopter RP cost in the future to match air/ground more?
The costs are rather excessive especially for a vehicle time that can only be played in more limited ways. So if there isn’t it would a bsomething I believe Gaijin should consider in the future.
