it is a better plane at the same br and a premium. they have locked the best f14 behind a paywall.

All aspect vs front aspect only is already a huge difference for this SARH equipped fighter. Even TWS is front aspect only so forget about launching Phoenixes in side or rear aspect

I’m not discounting that it is an issue for F-14D to be locked behind a paywall, but we need to keep it real here no? F-14D is marginally better and at the same BR, this makes it a functional sidegrade.
wont change a lot, Rafale will remain the best plane in game, but giving it the IR Micas would be cool

For instance, F-35’s offensive EW is limited from just the main radar so only frontal coverage (120 degrees, ±60) while the EF and Rafale are 360 degrees.

see i think ignoring it like that is kind of the issue
1 of them is atleast an event vehicle that you could have either grinded or got from sl crates. there is 0 way to get the F14D without spending real money
the better radar in my opinion makes it a direct upgrade but each to there own, and it really should never have even been considered a premium
