Major Update "Heavy Cavalry" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Fair and balanced. Brimstones would be too powerful though.

the day sea fury gets 150 octane and is viable my hair will be thin and grey… shame how wasted it is

Smin will see this and say perfectly fine, entirely balanced

Something something, would kill friendlies, something something.

I just want an ir brimstone, i would take ahistorical over stuck in purgatory as i doubt well ever see mmw.

dear lord tim what have you done

It depends on each aircrafts individual situation and BR. If an aircraft historically had it, it can be accepted as a suggestion which the devs can decide upon. However if it would involve a BR increase for an aircraft currently sufficiently balanced on its existing BR, it can be unlikely.

It’s not mine

They specifically removed the ability for Spikes to be launched without a target on a heli, it’s weird they didn’t do the same with other FnF missiles.

Ive heard your an avid user of the sea fury, ive given it my best shot but i just cant see how its 5.7 br is warranted is the thing. I would love to see planes get given the chance to receive 150 octane fuel on the dev just to see how it performs if its a fear of causing a mess.

Especially for such a plane known for its performance, that combined with the fact the tempest 2 has it and its technically an older iteration of the fury.

what does this mean specifically

@Blanchboi I threw together a report for the missing air to air symbology on Scorpion.

in the case of sea fury. its incredibly poor for its BR. 150 octane would give it some chance.

I absolutely hammered @Tea_And_Country who was using the fury while in a welkin a few days back, he couldnt turn on me or sufficiently jink away from my grips, wasnt even able to extend on me.

Its honestly really sad the state its in. I know the 150 octane is already forwarded as a suggestion but is there any way to nudge the devs further?

I eventually got your ass, just had to pull out the ki 200.

And justice for my clipped wing spit enjoyers, the mk16 managed to pull into its circle.

(got the wrong mk, sorry).

that was a draw as we mid air collided like a pair of hornets. but i did bag myself your fulcrum

What decides if a vehicles is a pre-order or not?

@Smin1080p_WT Hey Smin, apologies for a random ping, but I was curious about something regarding the Harpoon: Currently, I believe only the D model is being added this update. Are there plans to add earlier variants in the future so aircraft such as the F-16A/C, F/A-18A, and F-20A can get the Harpoon?

I’d not have voted yes if I knew it was just adding artificial vulnerabilities instead of adding to gameplay in a way that’s actually interesting.

I was expecting things like batteries or generators to be relevant for a power storage/generation mechanics, systems like LWS getting their own sensor modules each providing their real degrees of coverage, gunner sight modules that can be disabled to fall back on backup sights or electronic/manual control splits for tanks separate from the basic turret drive module, so in some cases a hit can do damage that isn’t just all or nothing.
There’s so many ways to actually make these fun, so why use it as a way to make tanks just feel less like tanks?

The way it’s implemented is just not fun to be on the receiving end of, far beyond what just not wanting to be hit should feel like in a game.

i honestly believe its at random unless its something they know they can milk like a tomcat

I don’t think it’s random, I think it’s tied to sales expectations.

so it still factors in chance
