Iirc low zoom is correct, the AJ168’s camera was only for MITL terminal guidance

the Tornado RET.8 and Tornado GR1 have incredibly similar loadouts, with the GR1 having an arguably better CAS loadout with 4 FNF AGMs where as the RET.8 lacks any form of FNF weapons outside of GNSS
both Planes have only 2 AIM9Ls for defence
the only real advantage the RET.8 has is the newer countermeasure pods allowing a mix of Chaff and Flairs instead of just Chaff and the slightly stronger Mk103 engines vs the Mk101 engines of the GR1

I see no reason why the GR1 cant just go to 11.7 like the RET.8 with a limited ALARM loadout like this meaning to take 5 you lose all other CAS so you get 1 more missile to counteract the advantages the RET.8 has.
This also serves to balance out the 11.3 tornados since the GR1 was arguably the best as it had FNF weapons, like @Rzi4628-live said we already have the F-111C at 11.3 that fills that CAS bracket so we lose nothing for doing this, we instead lose access to ARMs for the 11.7 lineup that most nations have access to if we don’t do this
