Speaking of the firepower, I’m wondering how much difference the American round’s improved performance against ERA will make.
Against contact-5 it makes a huge difference, against anything else not really.
Dev server is a good place to test, from screenshots I’ve seen I still expect it to change so it doesn’t end up too good
How’s it against Chinese ERA? I have yet to see screenshots of it against anything but Soviet/Russian ERA
So far on the dev it makes quite a signficant difference against K5 tanks like the T-80U, T-90A and T-72B3.
M829A2 can pen through the UFP on some specific spots against these tanks at really close range, but M829A3 can lolpen the T-73B3 and T-80U UFP at 2km (the max range in the protection analysis) and lolpen the T-90A UFP at about 1500m still iirc.

Not sure, but chinese ERA is very weak so it would probably go right through
I quickly glanced over the ZTZ99A with M829A3 on the dev server yesterday and there the anti era properties didn’t affect FY-4 and FY-5, so there armor still holds up a bit.
I’m logging in now so I’ll take some screenshots.

Good to know, I think it might be intended as FY-4 and LIKELY FY-5 both utilize HEAT jets for protection

Well no because A. we don’t have a light tank above 10.0 which the Lynx can solve and 2. the Tigre can solve a few holes with in the British heli line.
It’s almost impressive that of all the things you could ask for, you are asking for one of if not the worst top tier light tanks lmao.
Ajax is 10.0 the Lynx is 11.0 so it would be a nice snug fit for it after the Ajax.
Domestically I don’t think we have a light tank that can go above the Ajax ?
hey @Smin1080p_WT,with the arrival of more anti ship / radiation missile to many plane. Are the dev considering a little addition for the JF-17 blk1 ?
as we know its already compatible with LD-10 anti-radiation misisle and can also be given the C-802 anti ship missile.
but also if its possible that the dev add the MAR-1 brazil anti-radiation missile bought by pakistan.

Ajax is 10.3, so technically ebove 10.0. That last part was an unserious reply from me exactly because of that technicallity.
There was that Ajax IFV that was shown on some arms expo or whatever a while ago.
Another option would be the AS21 Redback. The IFV that competed against the KF41 for the Australian contract and the one that actually got chosen and ordered.
What’s the difference with it having a underbelly gsh 23 mounted on the belly and the one we currently have. Why can’t we just have east German l39 with the gun pod from stock it would be no different
