Major Update "Heavy Cavalry" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

the genuine problem is that NOMAD, Antilope and EldE 98 are vehicles that are followed by resupplytrucks.

the only other vehicle with low ammo i can think of is the Osa
with 12 total.
but the Pantsir gets 24. missiles total
ITO gets 16.
just having slightly more ammo in NOMAD and EldE 98 would probably lift them from mediocre to… mediocre +

goodmorning everyone!! how yall doing on this very sepv3 day

And begging does nothing trust me I was the biggest Elde coper when it came out, the devs don’t care, they added the NOMADS just to watch you suffer lmao

It’s 12pm and I haven’t been to bed since I got off work at 6

i think i recall discussing it with you back then too, haha

Idk I made the videos of the Elde struggling to climb or move or do anything

I also made the most well known Elde mobility bug report

they gave differential steering just for the EldE 98
A feature most MBTs should have by now

And guess what? It didn’t do anything. The Elde still struggles with all the problems it did before
God that comment just reminded me I was told Sweden was unfairly treated because they get different steering and nobody else did

yepp… still gets stuck on ledges

It gets stuck on flat terrain lmao

Driving the EldE is an artform

Hello
Can we know why the Mirage III, Mirage F1, and SEPECAT Jaguar, especially the Jaguar, which was historically the primary user of the AS37 Martel in French service, currently do not have access to this missile?

Especially considering that the AS37 is an anti-radiation missile (SEAD): it cannot even directly kill players. The missiles can be intercepted by AI SPAA that fire on sight infinitely, similarly to Nuclear Thunder. On top of that, destroying bots grants almost no XP (just like ships or aircraft carriers that barely give even 100 XP upon destruction).

So why do these aircraft, which were historically the main users of the AS37 Martel, still not have access to it?

Especially when the Mirage 4000 can currently carry four of them despite the aircraft never having had an operational weapons system in real life. At this point, you might as well give it to the Rafale.

I’ll ask the question again here, but will AM-39 Exocet be added during the update?
No, because it’s in the game’s trailers every year, but never actually in the game

Alcohol is required to find any semblance of fun. But for the nation people scream is very biased because a dev said so and clearly is the most bias heavy nation that means the Elde is actually the most OP thing

I’m gonna have to pay more attention when I see as37 given I instantly think viggen

had my IRIS-T SLS follow an SU30 all the way back to the airfield and slapped them

Ironically that steering doesn’t even make the elde98 drive better cuz of how they code the rear cabin as a “carriage” rather than part of the driving cabin. Even more ironic is that the steering if applied to every MBT that has it would significantly increase mobility on all of them, notably Challenger 2s, Leopard 2s and Type 10s.

So what have we learned from Gaijin devs?

But yeah
im gonna hop off this discussion for now
just wanted to highlight NOMAD is probably as mediocre as the EldE 98
make a deployable resupply truck, thanks.

Just imagine an defenseless ammo truck sitting next to the NOMAD and EldE 98

That’s impressive I wish mine did that

Hitting a curb with the trailer at 15km/h makes it flip 180 degrees instantly. And also turns the vehicle the opposite way

Because the rear cabin has no “weight” modelled to it, it’s not supposed to be a trailer, it’s a cabin that shares the driveshaft with the front cabin, so rightfully both the front AND rear cabin should actually accelerate together.
