The obvious answer is that it allows a strike package to organically retain some level of Self Protection, whist still being able to prosecute a mission without the need for more airframes
On the topic of the -101B, part of me hopes it’ll be a later addition to the dev server (kinda like how we’ve gotten late GE prems in the past)
