Hopefully one day.
With the Abrams and Australia becoming a sub-tree. Means there is hope for Canada, so let’s hope we see something next year.

Hey quick question, if the addition of ARMs would involve raising the BR of a vehicle then can i ask why Su25T/39 and Su24M have all access to ARMs while remaining at their 11.3 BR?
Speaking from a german tornado IDS perspective it was present on IDS tornado prior to SLE upgrade which can be seen on RIAT 2019 photos of an IDS GAF tornados so the capability is there. But the entire BR discussion around this just seems like favouritism from the developers towards russian planes.
Yes the Kh58s do only follow certain bands compared to more universal HARMs however the Su25T/39 doesnt lose much of its CAS capability at all from equipping the missiles and still keeps its 20(!) A2G + 4 A2A including IRCCM missiles ordinance at the very same BR of 11.3.
Su24 does sacrifice a large part of its kit for Kh58s as it occupies 3 slots (2+ARM pod) so it remaining at 11.3 is somewhat understandable.
German Tornado IDS however would have similar sacrifice present as the Litening that is necessary for LJDAMs to engage vehicles other than SPAAs would occupy one of the HARM slots and the entire loadout would be a balancing matter between bringing LJDAMs vs HARMs.
So can we get a bit more precise reasoning from the devs why one plane with cracked out loadout is allowed to be at 11.3 with ARMs while the other would “need to go up in BR” as you have said?
bad news, kh31 is limited to 3950km/h when its suppose to do 4500+.
ramjet not so fast
because the change wont be that big in air and ground, they already have KH-29 that is deadly
Thats not a good enough reason. Kh29T and TDs/TEs (i forgot what is on Su39) can target both SPAAs and tanks as a standoff missile.
They are already way more competent than LJDAMs that have a release limit and can function only as GNSS JDAM for standoff purposes.
Adding HARMs to the mix which realistically will be just two on wings unless doing full SEAD sorties (in which case you cant kill any tanks) wouldnt make the plane broken or in need of BR increase. Tornado is already one of the worse FM planes in the game for its BR and its loadout leaves much to be desired.
Atleast with HARMs the ASSTA1 could be a bit more versatile CAS option for 11.3.
Plus germany doesnt even have a ground vehicle between 11.0 and 11.7, and MBTs go from 10.7 to 12.3 (12.0 with 2A4M).
Adding HARMs to ASSTA1 wouldnt even change that much other than offer a better way to deal with Tunguska, Tor and Pantsir than JDAM lobbing.

They fixed their mistake.
speaking only about the Su-24, Su-25T and Su-39 the anti radiation missiles wont change their performance drastically, the best aa in 11.3 is the TOR-M1 that is only in Russia (that cannot face against) and the Chinese one, after that the only thing is the ADATS that is 11,7 that can easily just close the radar and quide the missiles without radar lock and only with tracking ,
Flarakrad is also 11.7 btw
And if the question is about HARMs on a tornado drastically changing its performance then thats also questionable. It would make some things better of course, but would it drastically increase its performance to have two more HARMs with LJDAMs on? Personally id say no.
HARMs can still be intercepted especially when fired from a range and youre still using just LJDAMs. Atleast the Gr1 as bad as it is get PGM500s as a FnF option.
indeed so you see the anti radiation aren’t game changing
i agree but the tornado that can carry 9 harms is drastically changing performance
ohhhh right i got it, shame we never got it for the uk but we have a sepv3 now so who cares
You guys are focusing too much on the GRB aspect of ARMs, large scale game modes like Nuclear Escalation are where they shine, in the CM update it was already hinted that the mode might be coming back in a changed version at a higher BR very soon.
9 HARMs? It can carry 4 max for the GAF IDS afaik
2 under the belly like you can see here:
and 2 on wing pylons (i dont have a photo for it since mostly they put fuel bags)
I care about the Canadian players who also want all their vehicles available in one tree. I’m not going to stop batting for them simply because I’m Australian and our stuff is finally where it should be.
Same with any nation really. Gaijin need to find a home for a sub-tree and put everything there. It’s unfair for the players to jump between trees to play their nations vehicles.
i 100% agree but for they wont do it for “balance”
sorry not Harms some other anti radiation missiles
ALARM id assume since those are smaller, but those are just british only, same way as PGMs only brits use ALARMs and so the german tornado wouldnt have access to them, only at max 4 HARMs.
Yes the gr4 is getting 9 alarms this update
Also happy they are adding naval vessels so anti ship missiles and other naval weapons have a place to shine (outside of naval battles that is)
