on the subject of APDS changes, i saw a suggestion for the L21A1 APFSDS round on the old forums. is that an option for the Warrior if the APDS changes significantly impact it’s performance?

Not necessarily. It could very well be a ground vehicle, but the only information we have is that it is not an MBT, which when taken straightforwardly leaves it open to anything. There could be an implication in that rather odd wording, but it could still be something else.
I don’t know any iconic non-MBTs left to give America. But hey, my area of expertise is WWII Aviation, so I wouldn’t know…

I just feel like the marder1a3 and marder a1- are too similar. They should give marder 1a3 milan 2 since it has a weaker gun than the warrior. Move the marder 1a3 up to 8.3 if needed.

Then it would be a much higher br tho. :P I say we wait for weisel mells.
Main differences are that the Marder 1a3:
-Gets better armour against Autocannons
-Gets an APDS belt (not fully but makes up majority)
-Gen 1 Thermals
-LRF
That’s about it really.
But yeah, having the better ATGM would be that tipping point for it to go to 8.3 I’d imagine
yes but it’d powercreep a little because the chassis itself can’t go higher than ~ 9.0
