I would say TT given I dont think the other “dreams come true” vehicles were leaked? Also feels a bit too good for being a meme thing. Tog and sturmtiger are more so meme vehicles with a cult following.
I would say things like Boulton Paul Defiant etc are more likely, stuff thats simply just… yeah xD
So where do you guys think the Yubetsú DE 228 will go and at what BR?
3.3-3.7 before or after the JDS Ayanami?
Of course IF its coming this update and probaply without Harpoons.
Isn’t it hilarious with the whole company being named “Gaijin” that they’re absolutely refusing to give Japan any love?
Japan almost only get a new (copy paste) plane when the BR gets raised or new mechanics get added, so they can have something there (F-16/F-15s)
When Japan gets a new tank, it usually gets copy-pasted twice to make the most out of it without any effort (Type 90/10/16). Not to forget Japan only gets a new tank every other update on average, and already had two major updates in a row without any plane.
If they don’t know what else to add, why do we have four sub trees for other nations now but there isn’t even any subtree announced for Japan?
It’s almost sarcastic how these “Gaijins” are being a great example of why the Japanese tend to be so xenophobic towards foreigners.
Reload, and thermals… but yeah, that’s pretty much it.
If mobility wasn’t gimped, it would be MICH better; but as of now, it’s pretty much the same, even though it’s 5 tons lighter with the same engine power (and that’s leaving aside the hyperbar).
Japan lacks of aircrafts from WW2 era and some from cold war. There is plenty suggestions for gaijin to fill japanese tech tree.
If R2y2s gets removed, we may can get the Fuji T-1.
My best guess. We’ll get dual-mode Brimstones, so will require a laser lock before firing. This alone greatly mitigates their performance. Combined with Gaijin lackluster modeling of smart missiles like Hellfire and Spike already, I also suspect they’ll be relatively mitigated by their small size and impacting ERA and doing basically no damage quite often.
FInally, I suspect that some hard requirements such as Tpod will mitigate how many can be taken to a certain degree and then they will also have a moderately high SP cost compared to equivalents such as the KH-38. (though In future i hope we get scaling SP costs based upon how many of a weapon system is taken. 6x Brimstones is no more powerful a loadout than is found on the F-16, maybe even a tad weaker. But 18x Brimstones is potent)
WIth that being said. There is enough from the Tornado Gr4 over the Tornado Gr1 to add it without Brimstones, just. But would need things like ePaveways, ALARM and an appropriate stand off weapon like PGMs or Storm Shadow in their place. But I hope that Brimstones came ASAP, alongside better top tier SPAA.
I think it has more to do with Japan being a ‘minor’ nation then a hatred of Japan. Hell, even major nations experience issues with shit not being modeled correctly, Japan isn’t the only one suffering from these issues.
But hey, at least they uptiered the R2Y2s until they’re barely useable anymore, and took away the air spawn, instead of removing them… i guess that’s something…
I really like the Japanese tree but other than just liking their tanks, the only two reasons I had to go back to them in like 2 years were the Type 81c when it got added, and the Type 81c again now that it slots back into the Type 90 lineup…
the Desert Warrior when it’s the same BR as the Chadley (platform with the same missiles and gun, but has a CITV, Air target tracking, and can actually use its ATGMs from behind cover) and the Dardo (platform with a better gun and better mobility. With the same ATGMs)
I found the perfect Leo 2 for the british tree. The 2A6PRT, it’s a completely unchanged 2A6NL but in portugesian service. Great for gaijin as well because they can just copy-paste the planned 2A6NL from the french tree xD Additionally, if the 2A6FIN (also a 2A6NL) got its hull armour fixed, the german 2A6 would finally have a reason to exist again :D What’s the connection between Portugal and Britain? No clue but seems like that doesn’t matter anyways.
