- I think most french mains will stick to a leclerc over a Leopard 2. AT MOST they’ll switch the Azur for the 2A6

Its still significantly better than only 2 type 10s for japan (not counting the tkx (p) which only has dm33 as top shell)
At the end Bvvd said that there is a plane, ground vehicle and ship for Japan. But not ready yet

It was meant to replace the Vark so…
I mean fair enough, but nobody is going to run the leos over the Leclercs. I’ll also add that not 1 french player asked for the leos. It is crazy in a way, considering france needs IFVs and light tanks more than anything else.

I’ll never replace a Leclerc for a 2A5/6.
I play France for the Leclercs. If I wanted to play Leopards, I would play Germany or Sweden, both of which have full-Leopard dedicated lineups with much more powerful variants…
If I put 2A6 in service, it will be on a new crew slot, as a backup for the Leclercs in a worst case scenario.

Replace the vark yes but game balance wise vehicle designation is up to Gaijins discretion.
The F-15E + F-16C will be the most overpowered CAS combo in the game.
F-16C will very likely be better for CAS in ground RB anyway, so you won’t miss much.
Unless they give it the -229 engines it’ll mostly be an air sim plane.

I think its good to substitute the leclerc s1 for the 2a6 incase you want something with a little bit more punch and turret armor

True! For Ground RB, I think I’ll just keep using Harrier Plus. I like rearming at the helipads, quite fast and more convenient than landing on the airfield.
And for Air RB, F-15C.
Tell that to whoever named the 530F and 530D

I think running an AV-8B and F-16C will still be a very potent combo.
I’ll get the 15E because it looks cool, not because I consider it worth my time haha.
