ARB mainly, took the F1 out in sim and didnt do very well iwth it but im pretty bad at sim.
do u mean the F1 200 or the F4S?

I don’t wanna make claims on it’s performance in AB/RB but in sim I easily get ace games without dying.

for me the RWR was a problem in sim, other than that yeah flew great man
ARB its still effective but due to the way it plays id say teh F4S is more meta due to effective missile count and what not
F4S lockdown modes don’t have IFF I think so it sucks in sim. I actually only see people use it for suicide bombing airfields.
F1 RWR isn’t the greatest but good enough to tell you something is there and by the time they are even in range of you you will have been able to properly get nose on target and identify friend or foe using any of your radar modes.

yeah i get what you mean man, im glad its pretty good in sim though, it is good in ARB it can absolutely mop up, the issue is teh damn BRs man, youre fighting F15s, su27s, J11s, Mig29s, f16s, mirages, gripens etc in it and it just cannot roll with those types of jets, not much actually can that isnt one of the afformentioned jets.

If you do see an F-16, which is max 25% of the time and you can just choose not to play on those days, you can just BVR it… Or you know, use flares. They don’t have IRCCM missiles and you do.

DCT was kind of a joke, it would be a cool squadron vehicle. It’s a F-16A IIRC because it was to fill the role of “JAS” which is fighter, attacker, and recon.

i mean in ARB man its constant uptiers into them. and seeign as they moved a good few of them down to 12.7 it means youre still coming across consistently better air frames, with better weapon systems over all. two magic twos is great. but an F16AJ has 4 9Ls and 2 7Fs and a far better radar, rwr flight model, etc etf

I honestly don’t know why people play that game mode but to each their own of course.
To you I’d suggest what I suggest to anyone else with any of their worries in this game…play simulator.

Stop your insults on Italy. Despite Hungarian Gripen, which is the same treatment as Germany is going to get from Switzerland soon according to leaks, already getting actually with squadron Hunter (and Italy still doesn’t get any squadron vehicle btw), Italy irl owns/owned such CAS as AV-8B+ of Marina Militare and AMX (A-11B is still missing btw), only leased stuff Italy has are F-16ADF (which is still missing its AIM-120) and Tornado ADV, while it’s absolutely alright to have them in game since they were in service with Italian Air Force. You are getting annoying honestly.

Use the F1, use the MTI mode, bring 2 magics and 3 radar missiles. Lob of your shittiest one to force opponents on the defensive.
If you don’t like trimming set SRS to dampening.
besides LJDAM and Taurus all of them can be added to ASSTA 1
besides that, NONE of this makes it equal to a GR4
