The British tree does not have an AV-8. Perhaps you mean Sea Harrier FA.2 or Harrier GR.7. Both of which are domestic designs.

Does this change anything? Britain needed a new CAS much less than Germany.
And the argument “Germany has 3 tornadoes, and Britain has 1” sounds very funny.

The talk was about Tornados intended for CAS.
Let’s hope it does, for now it’s the first time the anniversary is unveiled bit by bit like this, which is kind of weird. All we can do is hope for a new tournament - My Gaijin coins are ready lol.

Well, you can also use an F.3 or ADV for CAS, the BK.27 hits realy good

But I dont get, all 3 Nations got at the same time there IDS/GR 1, why cant they continue with this and gave all 3 nations at the same time an more modern Tornado?

Obviously for the same reason why Germany received all its MiGs half a year late on average.
but there is no real GR.4 equivalent for germany and Italy
So British will probably have Indian Su-30 MKI, MiG-29UPG/K, Mirage 2000 H/I and Rafael EH?
2 of those in the British tree have no ground strike capability. They are fighters.

There is, for Gernany its called ASSTA3.1 may even the Tornaso ECR…
you could also add the Tornado SLE…
Italy no clue, but there have for sure an more modern one…
Also, no need for an 1:1 counter, but atleast something… which goes in that direction…
The ECR would be very welcome with HARMs since we are getting new SAMs
