Helis being hard to lock with ir missiles is such a pain in the ass. I couldnt even lock one with a 9l let alone an amraam…
Hopefully well, I think it wont be true stealth I think what itll be is a harder to lock aircraft like its in an indefinite notch or something similar
I can get being annoyed by the opportunity cost, but the British TT is probably the most logical option for this particular Hind. South Africa is a subtree of Britain, and Russia didn’t provide any help in developing it beyond the base Hind from what I understand, and from what I can tell, it’s so heavily modified that it can’t really be considered copy-paste. It is about as Russian as the Centurion LPT is British.
Highly doubt that. This is a great opportunity for Gaijin to test stealth mechanics in a live environment that it would be a mistake to pass up on it.
Kh-36 Grom-E1(or E2) variant.
They never suspect the jet that popped up for 2 seconds had just flung a 1000lbs bomb their way, always a highlight of my day untill the pantsir brings an su 27 to hunt me down in my tornado…
E1, E2 does not have a motor.
Everyone complaining about their new CAS planes. Meanwhile Japan without any kind of targeting pod …
me not knowing what notching means
yeah yeah sure something like that…
Inb4 it just has some weird IRCCM because they couldnt figure out something better than that
At least a 1000lb still has a decent blast radius. You need to move like what, 50-150m to be safe from a 250lb bomb?
You press W for like 2-3 seconds and boom there goes GBU-39.
Notching put simply, is forcing yourself horizontal to the enemies radar thats locking you or firing a missle at you so as to break the lock and look like the ground instead of an abnormality
Because it’s actually nimble, or it can’t actually carry much (which is wrong)?
1000lbs for a ccrp is best but gps is pin point, so as long as they dont move its fine. Basically, u lock them up, then you hit the deck and use ccrp to lob it up without pocking up for them to shoot you. Gives them no warning as they wouldnt have seen you drop it and means they wont be looking out for it. Best idea is to chuck one then get another from another direction as most of the time if they do doge it theyll return back to where they were as thats the spot they want.
ah ok, thanks
brain cell is pudding from trying to understand what people are saying
They has a bit worse explosive than your usual 250lb bomb. It’s 16kg of AFX, which is around 29kg TNT equivalent. I am a little bit hoping we get the GBU-39B/Bs which are SALH, but that might also just be a bit too much, just gotta hope SPAA doesn’t move an inch.
It will be pretty good for farming ground units in air/sim though.
Another way to look like the ground is to crash into it. No missile will get you then. It is not recommended though.
Please get back in your box
KV-7 is probably going to be a premium unfortunately
isn’t it the “Dreams Come True” vehicle?
I wouldnt expect them to put that in the update teaser
