South africa is in the britihs tt… how does a south african vehicle does no belong there?
The devs in fact did provide a detailed explanation, nobody (or at least I’m not disputing that) the problem is that the Devs provide 2 reasons. The first is as follows.
Nobody will dispute this (or at least I wont) as this is a very valid thing to state. LOS should at bare minimum be required in the current game state. The issue is the 2nd reasoning.
this reason holds no water, it is full of holes, it stands on absolutely nothing. Because the Mavericks and to a greater extend the KH38 missile not only outranges SPAA, but the KH38 especially has NO counterplay for people on the ground. The only thing that I am asking for, to maintain fairness, balance, and the integrity of the weapon system, Is that the options of a TV/IR seeker for the Brimstone be looked into. as it stands this weapons only “advantage” is its range which Mavericks and KH38s both match or surpass, while being FNF and not giving the target a warning that they’re on their way.
A Hybrid TV/IR Seeker + SAL will retain the identity of the weapon. Then the devs provided reasoning will stand on 2 feet because you still preserved said identity whilst reasonably nerfing it instead of taking away the sole defining feature that this weapon was developed for to begin with. As for the other weapons that it brings to the table, they might be neat but given both the state of the game at top tier ground and the “meta” for A2G weapons. The GBU-24 and Paveway IV bring no reason to take this aircraft over the Harrier GR7.
The only thing this aircraft, in the current state that it’s been presented in the blog and based on how the other Tornados perform in game, has over the GR7 is its HMD and its speed. It’d be far better if gaijin would look into some alternative to the FNF functionality that retains the identity of the weapon, instead of just completely butchering it.
Because while I have no doubts you can make 9 20km range SAL Brimstones work. It’s the same way you CAN make the Vhikers on the Su-25T work. Under ideal circumstances they might be neat, but ideal circumstances are rare and ultimately not worth judging the vehicle on.
that’s a L
Any chance we will see the Israeli F-15I along side the F-15E?
The question is very easy. It doesn’t even reveal any detailed information about the patch. But, no, this is gaijin)
Perchance. Maybe, probably not, enough vehicles for a single update, and leave it for the next one.
Khorne back to coping again lol.
If you want a super hind in the Soviet tree just ask for the Algerian one. No need to get upset over such a vehicle anyway lol.
sou what did I miss`?
So another dev blog today?!
Not all vehicles of a nation have to be added, if something doesn’t fit the game or the host nation, then it shouldn’t be added.
Russian vehicles don’t fit the british tree.
Well.
French invented main rotary turret.
So all rotary main turret should be in French TT
British invented L7 so all tank with L7 should be in bri’ish TT
Almost all Soviet tank with thermal has thermal from France, so they should be in French TT
e.t.c.
What were those props in the end? Some Japanese torpedo planes?
The difficulty of the question is completely irrelevant. The amount of detail is also irrelevant.
Keep in mind that youre comparing a missile with half the range of a brimstone, on a subsonic platform, the su 25 has to get into range of even the adats to fire, the tornado has only to be aware off the pantsir
Bet the dude is FUMING whenever anyone mentions that M60s, american tanks, are in the israeli tree ( clearly modified as well).
Or that Leopards, clearly german stuff, is in sweden.
( Bet the SA sub and F-111C tickle his pickle so hard as well)
No offense, just funny
Nice spear in the front! Melee saome tanks with the heli
/j
Wait till he hears about the Chinese tree
It is just as valid of an itroduction as the gripen, arguably even more as it is a heavely modified vehicle.
I don’t care if the soviet tree is getting one or not, what I care about is that the british tree is getting filled with soviet vehicles.
