Gee I sure wonder why
I feel bad for him, but the Devs are being obtuse for no reason yet again

Nah my personal favorite joke is that in the blog they state that one of the reasons theyre not adding mmW is because “enemy SPAA has no way to counter it”

What SPAA counters the Frogfoot?

@Smin1080p_WT why are you ignoring the concerns of German players?

The Tornado is just as important to Germany as it was to Britain.

Germany has upgraded variants too so why aren’t we receiving them at the same time?

Not to mention Britain has many alternatives to the Tornado already, Germany does not.

but it’s not gonna be even remotely as good as rhe GR4

all it adds is GBU-54 LJDAM

“We don’t want to modify their historical capabilities- but we are fine with removing 50% of their historical capabilities (which is still modifying them)”…

I hope they will accept my suggestion. If they reply what you said, I will reply what I stated above, hahah.

Should work like Hellfire in that regard so no issue for guiding in more than one, although you will have to be good at switching targets as each one impacts.

Yea, having a mmW seeker with incredibly limited range (like 1-2km) and narrow FoV so it really requires laser guidance to hit anything (that isn’t stationary) could work?

It’s a good idea that he stop replying to comments until things cool down since all questions are the same anyway.

Don’t blame him, most wt players are arguing about something they don’t know how op it is and refuse to try to understand it

Only USSR is allowed OP clown weaponry like KH-38 and Vikhr, every other nation must be “balanced”

Why, that would be the pantsir S1, of course.

Well, sometimes

More thinking about overwhelming a Pantsir’s ability to intercept incoming missiels rather that hitting multi-targets (though that is a real shame for dealing with AI targets in Sim)

Does it have IOG?

It’s mainly because of the mmW and IFF issue. The former one leads to a situation where smokes are not protective at all, and the later one would make enormous teamkills…

That kind of makes sense for me.

But I also agree that it would be a pity if the new armament doesn’t even have chance to show itself in battle… just like the 9M127 on Su25T.

The issue is Gaijin has a track record of “ahistorical” changes to weapons systems that can be buffed later like the: Magic 2 seeker and maneuverability, bomb drop speed limit, current FOX-3 seekers being nerfed compared to IRL, the AIM-54 still being nerfed, and heatseekers across the board going for flares too easily.

I don’t play Britain; but its kinda hard to get people exited for a new weapon if it is pre-nerfed so hard off the bat that it is already worse than other options, after all this restriction is like if Gaijin added FOX-3s but they could only be guided by the aircraft’s radar.
Surely it wouldn’t be that hard to “artificially” limit the seekers range and force the player to lock on to the target in the TGP, as relegating them to laser guidance is a pretty harsh reduction in capability.

Teaser now?

I know I know

No they understand how OP it is. They simply want an alternative solution to the one chosen.
