The door is already open, according to the long-term leaks. Of course Gaijin will eventually add the F-22 and F-35 and J-20 and Su-57, they’ll make a ton of money.
If the game is ever going to be “ready” for them, it is better to add something like the F-117 early and figure out how to implement stealth and how to make counters available.
Im fully expecting Typhoon to not have any issues locking a F-22 at long range but the SU-57 will be totally invisible to both radar and IRST even at point blank range
Unfortunately you are probably right, but I would not mind at if they heavily gimped the stealth element for balance. Hell- as we get further into the modern era, I become more supportive of direct nerfs for balance, because the nations arent balanced at all irl.
I still maintain the game was not ready for Fox-3s, and I would argue that the difference between late-subsonic and supersonic, and the difference between no missiles and AIM-9Bs is far less then the difference I am describing.
Its a catch 22, it will never be ready for them, without a reason for them to make it ready for them. So they need to come before they’ll be able to balance them.
That being said. We want to rain brimstone down onto them
