here is hoping that Italy and Israel get new top tier SAMs, then japan, Britain and finally America to bring them all up to at least the 12km ranges of everyone else, ideally the 18-20km range mark

No, but the engine configuration helped disperse their engine signature and by VIFF, you could turn a rear aspect shot into a side aspect shot, which greatly mitigated the ability to gain a lock and helped greatly in defeating an IR missile. Placing the wing between the exhausts and the seeker could prevent locks altogether, with one story from the Falklands suggesting this affect was enough to prevent an Aim-9L from locking.
In game, due to how they use thrust for heat sigs and the high thrust of the harrier and increased thrust at low air speeds. Flaring a missile in a harrier is exceptional hard. VIFF appears to have no impact on missiles

Leaks indicate that it’s going to be a squad vehicle, so if you don’t want to buy it, you can grind it out instead.
put it this way. You’re a plane with an atrocious flight model and your main selling point is your 2 Radar missiles. You have to give them up for your A2G loadout.
Meanwhile the F-16 (which is a better dogfighter than you) gets 6 AGMs to your 2.
He has more advantages in that fight than you do because his 2 SARHs are less valuable than your 2 sarh’s

I was wondering if I should let my hopes down since it looks like this patch will be delayed. I wanted to buy talisman on F-15C but if the sales come before the major update, F-15C will not be eligible for the talisman sale nor other vehicles from June 2024 update.
