Pantsir is way better than TOR-M1… TOR-M1 is basically useless against any jet within 2 km… Pantsir’s missiles does not need to vertically launch and it also has 30mms…
Also the F117 will be a gimmick aircraft obviously it will be very very limited but itll be a good gimmick aircraft and be a good testbed for stealth in WT
I think when people refer to pod, they are thinking more of an external targeting pod with wide gimbal limits. This internal pod won’t solve that issue that the Russian tree has, at best this internal sight can look backwards quite a bit but not to the sides (it’s wedged between the intakes even).
Anyway, the Russian tree often compensates with just having better targeting sights built into their TV/IIR weapons anyway, essentially having a mini built-in targeting pod minus the gimbal limits, so targeting pods are less needed, though it would be nice to see.

Ngl, I’m just gonna use the OSA-AKM instead of the Pantsir cause it looks cooler, and is less OP and requires a little bit of skill.
