What will stealth do exactly on the F-117 in game?
In air RB planes will just come close to you for a gun kill, exactly nothing it can do to stop them.
And for ground it’s even less useful. SPAA can just manually guide the missile to the F-117 and kill it without much trouble. It’s a subsonic brick, not a 4th gen figher.
I mean, if you have no clue what upgrades the vehicles actually bring, then yea they’re not much different :D

ignoring the additional front chassis armor, side armor, rcws and aps system you see as well as the upgrade to the L/55
additional chassis change coming for upgraded engines, rcws, the eurothrophy and the covers of those they revelead recentlyish
they do change a lot on the view as well. Certainly more then leclercs, abrams etc ever did

Situational usage always exists, not everything has to be meta as devs like to point out, a lot. Would be fun to use to harass SAM systems.
Rule of cool should always have some leeway on things, would just be a fun and interesting event vehicle given the UK is likely in a very niche group offered the plane.

I agree, UK atleast has a gripen and it’s getting a new tornado for cas hopefully with brimstones. Japan literally didn’t have anything competitive ( Germany is just barely competitive at this point but I’m hoping this will be addressed soon). Better solution would of been to add a sub tree to Japan so that an alternative to f16aj didn’t need to be added. But then there’s always some sort of controversy, politics, did the vehicle exist, etc etc, can’t ever win

The lack of trailer/dev stream on this week makes me think this update is running a week behind previous years, which would make it drop at the end of the in game SL/Talisman anniversary sale week; thus excluding many vehicles from the sale because of the 2+update rule. I will be big sadge if so :C
I just want to know if we’re gonna get any more news today, personally I doubt it. I really wonna get some aircraft dev blogs but I can guess they will come after or closer to the day of the teaser.
There is always some leeway. But this is beyond that.
The UK and it’s current sub trees have plenty of their own things to offer for the future without any need or balance reason to resort to a proposal that never went anywhere in this case. At least with AJ it evolved and developed further in to F-2. So there is a tangible connection to the program beyond the proposal.
Such situations are only resorted too when it’s a balance need and a lack of any other options at the same time. That’s not the case here.

I wouldn’t know, I have them turned off. Heard that they are also really uncommon even if you have them turned on.
Not every tree needs every plane. I’m just saying that if the British mains want to whine for the F-117C, they have no right to complain when US mains want to whine for the EF2000.
