Hopefully 2 blogs today

You could take after Chris Redfield, if you want.

Or the exceedingly unlikely teaser would be nice.

We already got 2 tanks

That’s clearly a boat, though.

I wouldn’t call it that. China has plenty of “blue camp” vehicles and will receive more in the future. However subtrees like Hungary, while including “red” vehicles still are a NATO country currently.

I won’t take issue with, say, a Pakistani F-16, since that is a country that is generally an ally of China. Singapore on the other hand is at best neutral to China and a trusted NATO ally, so I cannot support that.

The Italians I believe might be the only ones with PIRATE IRST on the initial tranche (not the development one) though AFAIK it only came on a 2-seater so Gaijin will probably have that tranche be all the same.

It’s Tranche 2 where things start to diversify afaik.

I am happy to see Dunkerque, first in the step to giving France, Britain and Italy a full top tier lineup.

Lets hope they have a naval additions spree and add a fair few more in the next 2 months.

And loose all energy in the process better than early detla-wings

This is my main concern, TVC I think will be a double-edged sword for most players. You have unrivalled nose authority, but equally you lose all of your energy, and are you really going to be spraying your gun from ~1.2kms and expecting a good amount of hits before you start to lose control authority?

I think it’s something that will be only useful in stall-fights, which aren’t that common and doesn’t account for your opponent likely having much more energy than you do. When the Gripen and Eurofighter/Rafale programmes were being drawn up, their analysis of the Mig-29 and the Flanker showed that the most effective counter would be BVR engagements, and at WVR, high energy retention.

IRL F-22 pilots in their few losses in exercises often lost when they became overconfident with the TVC and lost all their energy. Keep in mind this is a jet with a T/W ~1.7 at peak, the Flanker is ~1.3 at peak and with any sort of fuel or armament its probably closer to 1.1-1.2 you just aren’t going to be making that energy back fast enough.
