F-15E, as far as I know, it’s heavier, slower and less maneuverable than F-15C, in terms of air-to-air, right? Its selling point is being a strike aircraft above all?

Doesn’t make sense if the only thing it gets are expanded CAS capabilities with decreased A2A capabilities. More likely at the end of the striker line.

I think the F-117 might be the new A-6E SWIP. Also honestly, they should’ve added the F-111D stop gap plane before the strike eagle.
