Anyway, I don’t understand, if there’s no teaser today, then when? If next week is Thursday, then it will need to be done at least 4-5 more devblogs, and this is quite a lot. There are usually ONLY 3-4 of them. It doesn’t seem logical.

TBF, I’m fairly certain a lot of that was outsourced and for the game in general as opposed to a specific update. They probably put a fair bit of coin and brought in experts, whereas recent trailers, as far as I am aware, have been produced in house. Could be wrong tho.
Mostly this, though I do take issue with the idea of the trailer being ‘generic’, at least in the way you describe. The purpose of cinematic trailers is to sell customers on the central pitch of the game. In Warthunders case, at least at the time, the game’s pitch was that of a (relatively) authentic/grounded air combat game (yes, I am aware War Thunder isn’t a perfect simulation and does take some liberties, but I am speaking in relative terms, and compared to much of it’s competition, War Thunder does try a bit more to be realistic). In that sense, the trailer is more specific to War Thunder then it is to, say, Ace Combat, which is what it would be competing against at the time, granted during this time period my thought process was Halo, Halo, Minecraft, so there could have been competing titles at the time I am not aware of.
EDIT: To expand on this, the trailer focuses heavily on air combat and planes doing cool things like blowing up the funni metal tubs. A trailer for, say, Hoi 4 would focus more on the grand scale of WW2. A WW2 CoD, or really any WW2 FPS, would focus more on either boots-on-the-ground or combined arms warfare with tanks, planes, and infantry.
TBF to Danger Zone, out of all the vehicles that would command the hype to be the focus of a single update, the F-14 certainly commands the starpower to have an entire trailer dedicated to it.
There’s a reason why the actual Top Gun academy fines pilots for referencing Top Gun.
Me when I told all my homies that the teaser is gonna drop and they all waited for nothing and hate on me now.

If you care about the tomcat then sure if you don’t it’s got nothing in it. Personally I’ve never liked the tomcat much.
I feel you vastly underestimate the hype of Top Gun, and what it’s popularity did to the fame of the F-14. It helps that Top Gun 2 was coming out at about the time as Danger Zone. While you may not care for it, the fans of both Top Gun and the F-14 are legion, they would be silly to not highlight and hype F-14s coming to War Thunder as much as possible.

I liked top gun, use to watch it religiously every time we were on base but I don’t care about the plane. I also think you perjlhapse overestimate how many care about the plane outside America and people who like planes. I like planes but there are people who only care about tanks, others navy. Unless you were a tomcat fan you got nothing from that teaser at all.
