The exact same thing happened last year. We were told in June that Britain and Sweden would, 100% get a new top tier aircraft.
Then the F-16C and Mig-29SMT was added without anything for either nation
then the Mig-29G was added, without anything for either nation
then we got the Gripen.
So nothing new if we have to be last for something new. We are always last
