If no nation has an equivalent, then it doesn’t need to come to the game. Or, it can be artificially nerfed like how the Brimstones are. Why allow only one SPAA to exist that has the capability to lock an enemy aircraft the moment it spawns.
Everything else has already been covered. The change to the Leopards just wasn’t needed. The RWR change was just something that wasn’t needed. And if it was a means to buff SPAA, then that should be communicated. Russia still didn’t need another high tier SPAA. Its existing lineup is still far better than what everyone else has.
The SLAMRAAM is the most likely item to be added, likely with nerfed capabilities such as AIM-9Ms instead of the AIM-9X and AIM-120Bs instead of the AIM-120C.
Balancing the underperforming vehicles and creating unique models is too much work (unless it’s for the US or USSR, of course), so everyone just gets copy paste instead
Subtrees from the beginning were just a mistake and a horrid idea as a stopgap way to fill up trees before modern aircraft/tanks. Tanks and aircraft should be given to their respective export nations (ie. Finnish Leos to Germany, Finnish T-series to Russia.)
Then what’s the point in even trying to suggest unique vehicles?
Better yet, what’s the point in adding different missile types? Boost/Sustain motors clearly have no place in the game when other nations don’t have an equal. The F-14 might as well be removed at this point.
Effectively all SPAA in the game can lock aircraft that just spawned? Hell, my 8.3 SPAAG can do it with ease. Even the AMX-30 DCA can.
Eh, would be far better if they gave it the ability to lower the gun with the stabilizer off.
An unrealistic aspect of an aircraft’s defense suite that was fixed… Wasn’t needed?
Why? It being communicated or not doesn’t change the outcome.
You’re right, every nation BUT the USSR should receive the Soviet SPAA instead. Why are you allowed to form ideas at this point?
Hence why 3 other nations are receiving an SPAA that could put them all on equal grounds.
Would be a great addition, though I feel the SLAMRAAM would be the perfect place to start AIM-9X implementation. Reduced range due to a burn starting from a stop, and a nice place to begin IIR implementation and American thrust vectoring missiles.
