Major Update “Firebirds” — DEV Server Changelog (25.10.2024) - Dev Server is closed

I don’t know if this is new or I missed it, but it’s VERY nice!

If they don’t change it from strike to bomber lobbies are going to look like German 5.7 air.

But Gripen can be nice addition too

Is it completely identical to the AV-8A? Any info on its stores?

same as av8a but gets gr.3 rwr

When I checked yesterday it was identical to the AV-8A, but with the Gr.3 RWR. Not sure if anything is changes with today’s update.

Only real difference from AV-8A is the RWR from Harrier GR.3 and extra slime lights from AV-8C

Can you guys please update the dev server changelog like you are used to do it with blue text. The forum is literally unplayable.

Bleh, more lazy copy pasting (the Osa). Here’s hoping the final update of the year will be more interesting…

Out of all OSA spam, this will be the most useful one. Not surprising that it took a week of “Hey gaijin Indians also have this copy paste” commenting

Who asking more AA on UK instead of Israel? Why don’t Israel get new AA already. Can’t fight anything at all.

Make a suggestion like we did.

Don’t worry A10C users they “Fixed” the ability to be able to carry 6 mavs and the targeting pod. Now you have to carry 3 and a G, unable to even carry a very realistic 5 mavs (3 on opposing side, and 2 next to pod). Got to love gaijin huh? The US military also stated that they tested the A10s ability to fire the Maverick right next to the targeting pod, and it was reported that it fired successfully with no damage received to the pod. It is not used often, but if they needed to, you can bet they would… But gaijin disagrees, so there’s that.

Eh… Didnt really need it, but at least its a easy C&P that shouldnt take away from us getting a BR6/7 ASAP or a new top tier hopefully. I personally rather enjoy the Stormer HVM so I wont be using it.

How so?

All RWRs with threat recognition have been nerfed. It gives SPAA a HUGE advantage when compared to before.

Welcome to DirectX, if you want ray tracing then you can head over to UE5.2+

4 nations are getting it, what does it matter if Russia does as well? Hell, it’s a Soviet vehicle to begin with…

What equal counterpart does any nation in the world have? China is the only other with a similar vehicle, and that hit production this decade.
America trashed its SPAAGMs, with the declination of the ADATS and a refusal to pursue the AGDS.

How is it unbalanced?

I didn’t have any hype for the F/A-18 to begin with… But honestly, at this point they can roll out a batch with the 18C for US + foreign and the 18E/F in the same update and I’d be equally happy. Either way it’s better than another F-15 that I find nothing interesting in.

None of which are powered or utilizing their stabilizer, which has already been stated that it supplies the limit.
If you could legitimately turn off the stabilizer to lower your gun in WT, it’s perfect… Until then, it’s “realistic” with extra steps.

The question though. Is this a historical change. Or a nerf for the sake of SPAA buffing.

Gr1 and Gr7 RWRs were excellent for this

It’s a questionable nerf that not only gives SPAA an advantage (i don’t mind that, i wish every CAS player would stub their toe against sharp furniture corners once for every CAS kill they get) but it mainly ruins RWRs in Air RB.
You pretty much don’t know what’s attacking you anymore
