The problem with misinformation is that the more you try and fight it, the more damage it creates for your self…
One reason why we tend to stick to our own Web Pages to spread Facts… it is just pointless trying to fight it off site…
As Smin mentioned, the best we can do is to is let people know not to listen to rumors, or at least not to put faith into Rumours and to stay tuned to official communications

Dump all your energy and spam flares just to deal with 1 of the 4 AIM-9M. Meanwhile R-73 is a oneflare with afterburner off. Do you see how AIM-9M is essentially uncounterable? The maneuver necessary to flare a SINGLE missile puts you in a situation where you are unable to flare a second, or simply easy to clean up by guns.
In a plane without apex flight performance? Die.
In a plane with less than 90 or so countermeasures? Die.
The AIM-9M is the most toxic missile in the game, the Phoenix is the second on account of single handedly stopping any non F-14 from climbing since 15/06/2022. R-73 can only catch the unaware or by stealth attack since Soviet IRCCM is such a joke.
