Major Update “Air Superiority” - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 3)

Turret is also unchenged. We keep the Chobham, Farnham not for us yet

Biased about what? If the enterprise is common and this prototype of two (United) companies is introduced into the game? But, for some reason, players playing in UK only want one branch of development, although two companies were involved in this

an every other nation has to work with heat fs as stock ammo when they used apfsds as well yeah, no i dont understand that

i got an idea, but it would probably get me chat banned for a couple of days for even talking about it :p

The inconsistencies between the different Challenger 2s that should be the same is under investigation. I can’t say at this time if it will be in this update or not, as the Devs are very much focused on the major update currently. Lots of things are still WIP.

Why would Germany receive a Challenger?

yes, every other nation used both HEAT and APFSDS

Sweden only used APFSDS just like UK only used APDS on their centurions thus they only get that

Yes its a rheinmetall project, but its a project for the British market, not for the german market whatsoever, nor was it even ever offered to the bundeswehr once.

Good to know it is looked at

I don’t understand how they are willing to jump into 2019 prototypes, yet they are not willing to guesstimate its armor and would rather keep it the same as the 1990s rank…

Like, do they really need specific values? Can’t they just make an educated guesstimation like they have done in the past many times?

Why does UK need the T-90?

Because they just can not force Swedish Leos to use them, since HEAT-FS was not available to them.

It isnt made by a nation that is as a tree i mean

Glad to read that at least, thank you for your reply!

Once again, all of the companies involved in Challenger 3 are UK companies. Rhinemetall UK and BAE. The tanks are also being built in the UK.

Challenger 3 has no place in the German tree.

the “dream” in question

stop the what about it’s getting annoying

a lot of those educated guesses are also based on known materials used, and for the challenger 2 those are publicly known, while for this new tech demo there’s zero information about what is in it
