You still can if the thing you shoot at does not exceeded 500 kph in a level straight flight. Any deviation from it deincreased the speed that causes the clipping
Even when shooting stationary helis it does mostly nothing
And there is also the R27T which has a dual band seeker.
Point is that AAM-3 can probably be added just fine next update
Helis are a different pair of boots. They are just ignored by starstreak unless they are moving 150-250 iirc

So, Gaijin didn’t put D-tech in order to make the vehicle balanced.
Correct me if I’m wrong but any 2A5/6 with D-tech armour would pretty much instantly become the best top tier MBT in the game by a significant margin, we agree?
So it seems Gaijin is maintaining the balance of top tier at the expense of, just not min-maxing every German vehicle…

We already had the situation that a dev stream was denied for friday, followed by a dev stream on friday.
The game is suposed to be realistic. If it would not be balanced, they may aswell add something else. It’s not like there are not enough leo 2s available
And also the Hull armor alone wont fix those turret weakspots
