Trailer had no ARH and a ir only gripen so it seems it will be ir only unless ARH are added

Well I ask about the Chinese as I believe they already had access to better RWR’s by the time of manufacturing the first J-11’s so it would seem weird to me that they would make them with worse RWR’s than previous jets they had

The J-11 is a copy of the 27SK, which is just an export S with some radar changes that don’t matter since that largely involves air to ground modes which we don’t get anyways for whatever reason

Could be used as a balancing way. The F-15J being based on the F-15C with the improved engines but with worse IR missiles.

Jp got worse thermals(1gen) for type81(c) which was made ~5 years after type93(3gen) so everything is possible

Depends on how gaijin implement it. Type93 and type81 supposed to have ground resistance
Type10 supposed to have armor and almost twice faster acceleration, lesser reload time

It’s the J-11A that seems to get a new rwr, which is effectively comparable to the SM
