the 1976 F-15A is not going to have a better radar than the MiG-29SMT or F-16C
I even did some research into hte Mk13 Paveway II the Brits use, was trying to see if maybe Canada or Australia procured it for their F-18’s.
Its later then the initial F15A
if we don’t get AIM120As then the F-15 might just be semi-DOA at this point. 120A is inferior to 27ER just saying

bad vehicles are going to remain bad, the fact of the matter is that Britain does not have many vehicles to fill the gap between now and the Typhoon, which is far too advanced to be added yet

For start with, Tornados still have a placeholder FM that is massively underperforming, Skyflash is also underperforming and the F3 could recieve any number of upgraded AAMs.
Tonrado Gr1 is so unfinished, it is barely recognisable.

And now we have F-15s and Su-27, Typhoon DA2 could come this update quite easily.
Not to mention the Cheeta C SAAF JAS39 C Hal Tejas and CF-18

well gripen radar is irrelevant if BVRAAMs are not added lol
a Gripen C or F-18 would be a good fit, but I think India should be am assive no go
