@Chernyy_kukushka
There should be no restriction ever.
“There is no restriction in being restricted.”
“There is no inconvenience in being inconvenienced.”
Neither of those are your direct quote, they are just showcases of when you use the terms “restrict” and Inconvenience" in the same sentence.
If you want an arcade game, go play the arcade game.
I came here for realism, not artificial arcade restrictions because people get upset.
Oh, and telling everyone that doesn’t play World of Tanks to get out of the discussion of a War Thunder topic is inappropriate at best.
Oh and to answer your first question: I played against F-14s with the equivalent of an F-104A [Mirage 3C] with better missiles and airframe. And the primary difference between defeating AIM-54s and AMRAHMs is time allotted.
I could personally defeat all existing AMRAHMs in game with… 8.7, the Mig-17PF. Anything slower I might have difficulties.
From what I see when this happens, the absolute max br thing they bring is a 190A4, and usually it’s a biplane of some variety
Almost never a latewar prop in my experience
I have no idea what you’re trying to say. In the end, there’s no need to regulate it. It just seems like you’re saying it’s fine as long as they can fight. Can they fight? A fighter plane with monster-like performance and a fighter plane that can only fly slowly. But since you’re trying to shift the point and say we should play arcade battles, there’s no need for you to be in this discussion. Because it’s not a discussion. If you think it’s okay to have unequal squads, just say so.
I have I shot one down the other day at .5miles with a aim9g (would have used guns but I was literally crippled with only 1 elevator keeping me flying)
Nah just let people play what they want and enjoy time with their friends.
Its not like you see this case on every match, you will find one on 1/90 battles, i have no problem with these guys
Maybe i would have a different opinion if these cases were the average battle but it isnt
They don’t do it in air battles for the God Mode, they do it to be a nuisance so any time I see som1 bring a prop to high tier jets, I touch their propeller : D
Also removing God Mode would ruin funny M22 and Spj 43 moments.
Can’t you fly a prop at it’s own BR for fun ?
Using vehicles of much lower BRs in a game will mostly put you (and your team) at a great disadvantage. I’m sure higher tier planes aren’t amused when seeing “funni” prop shenanigans.
In some competitive games you aren’t able to queue up with people of much different skill levels (BR in WT’s case), unless you have a full premade squad, so you aren’t able to hurt any randoms.
yes but you can do it at any br with your friends, any yes they are amused I’ve seen 4 people try to escort a p26 before they started stalling and realized its too slow for them to escort it
Also case with some aircraft being heavily undertiered and viable even in a 2.0 uptier.
I’ve also seen a guy in air sim go and do “historically accurate soviet propeller planes” and I don’t see an issue with that (in other words “this thing was late to WW2 so I fly it in same bracket as Ta 152s, F4U-4s and whatnot.”). I also regularly see bf109Fs, f6f-5 and F4U-1s at the 5.3-6.3 brackets
At least in ARB game mode, squads with a BR difference of 2 or more should be prohibited. Such mismatched squads demotivate players who are trying to play seriously.
