MAA1's and AMX-A1A once again

Yeah, in the future. I even stated many times over that the MICA-NG cannot come until the Rafale F4.2 gets added. I never stated it should come now.

Everything else you’re writing is gibberish. But it is going to be important imo that the community is aware every time you request historical fixes that you’ve had no problem denying historical fixes for others. I’ll continue to support requests from others, but you can’t seriously be pretending to be on the side of historical fixes.

Look. Its pretty clear now that Gaijin doesnt care about historical accuracy.

Which is why BOL is still artifiically nerfed. The Typhoons FM is still underperforming, Harriers are still the way they are, CR2s still the weakest tank in-game, etc etc.

I genuinely cant think of a single thing that is actually performing according to IRL specs. Not one thing.

So frick it.

Lets just embrace that fact and start demanding bug fixes that actually balance the game, instead of rendering the game a one-side mess. Especially as they cant decompress to save their lives either.

So no. In this instance, where MICA EM are already on live pretty OP, but on dev look to be coming truly a gamebreaking weapon, to such a degree that its probably gunna render top tier unplayable for everyone else… again… I dont thin the MICA EM needs buffs

They can already engage targets in a 360° envelope, out speed every other missile, have a way harder seeker to defeat than anything else “because reasons” and all on a platform that is overperforming by a lot.

What more do you really want? Do you really just want 16 Rafales vs 16 Rafales at top tier? Because even with the Aim-120 Buffs. Im really not sure the Typhoon is going to be able to compete. Like at all.

Let alone anything else.

Rafale might be about to become the first 15.0+ aircraft

The only thing left is that you admit you yourself also don’t care for historical accuracy. You make narratives that suit you. In fact, when it comes to all the missiles that got buffed, the MICA was actually the biggest loser. It got the least range buff comparatively, while now being worse than the R-77-1 in medium range HOBS, I already did a whole assessment on it. But this topic is just a distraction from whether or not you operate based on consistent principles and whether or not your pleas should be heard/listened to.

Ive been arguing for “historical accuracy” for years. and they keep saying that is what they are believe in, and then just deny bug reports for made up reasons or just pretend bug reports dont exist.

So no. tbh, I really dont care about it anymore, ebcause its pretty clear the devs dont.

I want buffs for the vehicles that needs buffs and those that dont need buffs should wait.

Sure, the MICA EM can get more buffs once everyone else has gotten buffs and caught up a bit. but right here, right now. In this major update? Like I want to be able to play top tier without just instantly dying the moment a Rafale enters within 30km.

Uh? No?

You have consistantly argued that the Rafale needs buffs to compete, even when it was steamrolling every single match and rendered top tier a 1 aircraft race.

But you have consistantly fixated on the weakest parts. “Oh the Rafale is the weakest jet at top tier because the MICA EM has the shortest range BVR missile, and range is really important, its unfair that the Typhoon gets C5s because they can just keep the Rafale at range and there isnt anything we can do about it, just ignore the 2+ K/D the Rafale has at the moment”

You came into a random thread about the AMX and started bullying me for not wanting the OP missile to become more OP.

Gunna start harrasing @MiGoon_Fox-3 or @ScimitarsCurse for voting no too? Along with everyone else who voted against it?

You talk about it looking “bad” me for me to vote no against a buff that I dont even entirely beleive is a real issue, when you and Vis just came into a random thread, took it massively off-topic and started bullying someone for disagreeing with the need to buff OP weapons

Is this about those french missiles “losing out after the amraam change” post
I also dont fully believe the post. Im extremely skeptical of how certain users such as Macron present how french kit should perform after the rafale fake buffs, notabug’d corrective nerfs and such. Macron also guilty of that with the screenshots of a rafale radar screen that gunjob called out for have getting it’s aspect ratio widened to look like it’s better.

It was a precautionary no, no different to when a Chinese account posts a new image that’s not really been seen on the web before (this is because of the AI incidents from their community, not because they are Chinese)

Would also rather not get involved in a handbag fight with that lot so this is my last comment on it especially on a non relevant thread.

Just to get the thread back on track,

This is the Brazilian AMX yes?

Seems like it’s solid enough for the BR in air, even if the F-5 spam ruins that BR a lot of the time.

It does seem very high for a plane with only laser guided CAS in GRB when you see the SPAA it faces, but this is because the SPAA it faces are generally far too undertiered.

It’s BR compression basically. Hopefully gaijin pulls their finger out and does some massive decompression of GRB so that these planes can actually do something against the blatantly OP 2s6 and peers

The issue is why its higher than the TT AMX

difference:

  • TT version has 20mm M61, Premium gets 30mm DEFA (natural debates to be had over which is “better”)
  • TT gets CLDP Tpod, Premium gets Litening II. This does give the AMX A-1A an innate advantage in GRB, but doesnt necessarily leave the TT AMX massively behind
  • TT has 2x Aim-9Ls and the Premium has 2x MAA-1s
  • There are also some minor differences to A2G loadout, but at their core, they are the same.

For GRB… the better tpod might be enough to justify the higher BR… maybe…

But for ARB, there is just no justificaiton for it, especially with 4x 9L slingers also at 10.7. You can maybe, just maybe make an argument that 2x MAA-1s are better than 2x 9Ls, but not that they are better than 4x 9Ls
