Why? them Russian tanks are able to tank almost every round aimed at their turret just like the Abrams turret cheeks, for the UFP just aim at the turret ring, that doesn’t exist for them Russian tanks thanks to their lower profile.

Assuming it’s the sides, I don’t really care. But the hull front and turret can stay.
You have to consider a lot of things to spell out what’s the best round in the game, it doesn’t depend solely on the values of penetration it shows; that’s one half of the thing; the other is weight, lenght, width, is it short rod or long rod and special specifications like anti-ERA, DU-rod the platform shooting it and so on. Best tank in-game is very relative, but M1 Abrams is not far behind i’m pretty sure.
If the best round where based purely on penetration values Object 292 would easily sit at top tier, which it doesn’t. The platform is not very versatile considering the poor fire control system, it take advantage of the first shot but not of the second if it can sustain a hit in first place, time to reload (which compared to Leopard 2, M1 Abrams is faster), mobility (which also, M1 Abrams is faster compared to Leopard 2 for example) and responsiveness (how fast it moves its cannon around, the fire control system thing).
I have no issues killing Russian tanks, but ignoring the fact that the Abrams has a bigger weakspot is dumb, also aiming at the mantlet has a bigger percentage to hit the ERA or the driver eats the whole dart.
You can already yeet side era at times with top tier APFSDS even when angled. Also in changes list we see relikt gets nerfed against long rod APFSDS which is funny
It doesn’t have bigger weakspots in turret and has tricky UFP and LFP. Ofc you don’t have problems killing bald pigeons with worse reload and often worse mobility. One should be complete autist to have such issues
I don’t know if they fixed the black hole that existed on the T90M sides that when your dart penetrates the sides it strangely disappears or not.

No they didn’t.
They fixed side ERA’s underperforming; side ERA on live would only protect 60 - 90mm when angled at 60 degrees while front ERA protected 204mm at the same angle.
Now side ERA protects closer to 110mm. 303 - 171 - 24 = 108. [Still performing worse for the angle than the unchanged front ERA.]
Flat protection remains unchanged.

Funny how the tank would have survived that last shot just fine considering it only hit ammo that wouldn’t be there when being played in an actual match
Unfriendly reminder: Turret ring is weak for T-series as well yet Abrams doesn’t have such large weakspots for APFSDS in turret roof which can be easily shot without need of getting superior height and lead to disabling of breaching and loss of gunner at the same time

Armor and protection systems aren’t everything. At close range, almost every tank can destroy Russian tanks because their reverse speed is practically nonexistent and has long reload time.
Most of that UFP is either non-pen or ricochet.
