Since when has m61 non penned the flat part of the tiger? I played a game today, non-penned and went into the armor sim thing and realized it says it can’t go through now. Literally since when has that been a thing, and I feel like either the jumbo or the tiger should get moved because that is super unfair.
The 75 jumbo vs the tiger h1 is very fair. Jumbo has much better armor and a faster reload in exchange for a worse shell

debence from how far you shoot. From close range 0-100m it has 104mm of pen. (mm or not idk) 100-500m 102mm; 500-100 102mm > 100mm (90-80 mm). The tiger armor is only 100mm at 0°.
So at close range it should pen frotnally. Still dont get why you cant pen. Maybe the Jumbo gun is high and the hit angle is not 0° so it will not pen.
when the pen was changed down to 102, from 104, however the APCR goes through quite nicely
Assuming that you are talking about the front, then show this 0°…Either you are mistaken or gaijin badly messed up the Tiger’s I geometry
the M61 used to pen 104mms and could cut through the tigers UFP real easily, but after they dropped it down to 102, APCR actually has a purpose on the 75 jumbo as shredding over confident tigers with them is quite fun
I started to play this game like for four years, but i remeber the timr when my 75mm gun coud pen the tiger. Now, i know other weakspots, so i rearly use apcr
i started 7 years ago, but yes the M61 shot was nerfed recently, unsure when, i want to say within these last few updates, but the APCR can UFP a tiger at some wonky angles, i only know that because i had a tiger rush me, and i panicked fired a APCR round at him even though it he seemed to be to angled for it, it went right on in, killing its engine and gunner
well if we shoot more on the side we can hit the ammo
It does pen 104mm, and it has had this exact same penetration for years already …

Btw this is from 4 years ago, so it was technically buffed from back then
with a 5 second reload rate and the ammo not guaranteed to be there its better to shoot for the gunner/driver imo

Tiger 1 vs 75mm jumbo is maybe the most balanced matchup in the game in my opinion.
neither can easily pen each other outside of a couple small weakspots that you either need to be a good shot to snipe or really close and personal.
Theres also the APCR on the jumbo so you can punish a tiger that doesnt angle correctly from even further away.
Both get absolutely hammered in uptiers when the user is a bad player too, the jumbo especially as its facing tiger 2 in what isnt even a full uptier anymore.
I think the 75mm jumbo, tiger H1 and tiger E should all be the same BR (tiger E needs its engine horsepower fixed, the HL230 was governed to 600hp not 700) which until theres an actual attempt at decompression by gaijin would be 6.0
100mm at 81 degrees? Look, i think the devs are 100 percent acurrat on the tiger. Its data is probably declassified, so the armor is correct. I will check on later
