Too bad about the reload time
Great Hwan empire TT when
Yesterday I spaded it—just grinding as an average player. Results:
- Crew: 150 (Expert)
- Games: 12 (GRB)
- Win rate: 66.7%
- Respawns: 20 (used 8 backups—plenty in reserve)
- Deaths: 17
- Air kills: 3 (all with the .50 cal)
- Ground kills: 24
Pretty average (bad) as usual, but I’m just an average (bad) player.
I’d add that it can be fun if the map lets you hide or disengage while reloading; otherwise, the reload time feels very long. If you’re down one or two crew members, it gets even worse. Airplanes can easily take you out—I’d say about a third of my deaths were from planes. Not Fun overall, in my opinion the M44 is still better.
Does everything you hit result in OHKO?
I’d say yes—only twice the shot didn’t kill the target: once on an M-10, where it ricocheted, and once on a KV-1, where it only damaged a track. But I’d blame that on my poor aim
How is this even possible?

Bad aim, in game the ricochet numbers are 0% @ 79 degrees, 50% @ 80 degrees, & 100% @ 81 degrees.
Poor addition. Cheapens the game experience with sloppy and paste for WW2 BR’s when most nations have indigenous designs.
That would need to bring more and larger maps into the game though as I can not imagine that system being effective on smaller maps which I support.
But I can imagine it is not as easy as it seems at first glance. Otherwise we would have them in game already.
I honestly have no idea what is the point of this tank and it looks so out of place side-by-side with WW2 tanks at that same BR. It serves no purpose
It has a 203 mm gun with enough explosive power to level a three-story building, yet you can hit the front of a light tank and only disable the transmission and kill the driver. It also has a 30-second reload, 10 rounds of ammunition, and no armor.
I guess it’s meant for Youtube click bait videos.
For some nation its the only vehicle for this patch. Underwhelming update.
Lineup depth and giving several tech trees access to the artillery mechanic without having to model several unique SPHs at once. This way, the famous ones can come one at a time and be a headline addition to individual updates.
Drip feed content industry works in predictable ways. If you understand the incentives, the rest is fairly straightforward.
No more so than the SdKfz 234/2 time travelling back to the past and fighting earlier WW2 vehicles I would say. Game is fully anachronistic anyway.
The nerf to all HE shells in terms of radius is so bizarre. It should be reverted.
Yeah it’s very defensive. You’re like a KV-2, except you’re trading armour for very good mobility and a slightly less enormous profile.

I was in a Dicker Max earlier and tanked a M55 shell to the drivers port lol. HE is very inconsistent right now
I didn’t think the M55 would be as mobile as it is. Have had a bunch of funny situations of driving around buildings and obstacles to evade enemies as I reload:

It’s China. It’s all China. Also at least unlike the m44 your crew isn’t outside the tank. I don’t see why gaijin has to add this to every country, the US already has enough tank destroyers
Dunno, I don’t like it. Reload is too long and the shell isn’t doing alot damage. It almost like a naval artillery gun, but when you hit a t-34 into the side it just damages the tracks. You need to hit specific spots or periscopes on top of the turret. Hatches or cupolas. It not very conviniant. Probably just interesting for youtubers. Also wounder why a bomb of similar HE size always kills with a 100% destruction radius, while this shell just fails.
