You mean the techtrees?
Still a lot to be added to the swedish tree :)

Great :)
Its just my personal opinion, in full regards to the M48A5 NO, but thats just my opinion. I do fully hope to see more domestic and other things fill the Swedish ranks
Long overdue. This M48A5 and A5PI can bolster a lot of trees in the game
This would be like another BR 8.0-8.3 M48 wouldn’t it? The Swedish tech tree already has two albeit mediocre 8.0 medium tanks and one not much worse 7.7 medium.
Maybe as a squadron vehicle but unless these modifications are more than what has been let on i think i’d be more content with seeing it in the US as a rank 5 squadron vehicle than as a squadron for sweden. The US hardly has any M48’s as is.
The copy-paste situation is bad enough as it is already and IMO i think we need the more modified and upgraded vehicles first, like the NM116
+1 also norway should be a subtree of sweden
another copypaste M48? No thanks
I think it technically is
believe it became one when the mosquitoes (or however u spell it) got added in the air TT
would love more scandinavian tanks, sepcially US exsports etc
that’s 3 premiums and 2 techtree vehicles, Finland is a true sub tree as it has its own line and a decent chunk of the Swedish vehicles, Norway has one here and there not really a sub tree as there’s Norwegian vehicles that aren’t added its sorta just there because there’s nowhere else to put it, i think Norway should be a true subtree like Finland so 4 lines of Sweden 1 line of Finland and 1 line of Norway
The Patton tank is going to be a must for so many trees with infantry mode. Was one of the final western tanks with WW2 philosophy baked in as standard (anti-infantry shells day 01) late Cold War tanks kind of stopped thinking about that a little.

Yes it’s true there where design philosophy that changed over the years and expectations. Patton tank was developed off of a WW2 program that’s why they where pushed out of service by the USA as there main MBT. Though there where features that the Abrams tank omitted to later be requested to be redeveloped. Anti infantry shells being one of them.
Russians would have that too with the T55 being the last tank with a artillery indirect fire ability baked in. It’s not great but it can work in a pinch.
Regarding the Patton with infantry mode anti-infantry shell is going to be more useful then you think vs HE
Nearly every western tank had this problem with smoothbore ammunition until DM11 and HEAT-MP rounds were made
I’m sorry what? Do you know that BR-412 out of D-10T is a 900m/s shell? How can you even do indirect fire within 1-2km with a shell that fast
They had special optics so you could use them like artillery. It’s not great but later tanks would not include these features. Expectations changed. HE shell
WW2 had different expectations anti-personal was very important one reason why USA tankers liked early Sherman tanks vs ones with longer range guns.
Like what? they just had regular periscopes and TSh-2B-32P Day Sight
Yeah because it was purposely designed so that the HE shells can be lobbed through indirect fire
ya later on it was seen as less relevant things changed.
What I am saying game play wise people may get more utility out of a Patton tank in infantry mode then a modern MBT.
