HISTORY
The M47 was developed in the 50s in america, basically the turret from an M42 was taken and mounted on an M46 chassis, a lot of this wagon was produced, almost 9 thousand.

This carriage has been in service in a number of countries all over the world, many have also done so, such as Norway, to acquire a pair to carry out tests with the cannon and ammunition.

Sometime between 1950 - 1960 Norway bought two M47 Patton II’s. These was acquired to try out and test the ammunition and the cannon’s performance before Norway was acquiring the first M48 Patton wagons with the 90 Millimeter cannon. The first of the new M48’s arrived in 1963.

These were used on various military shooting ranges trough the years, but were never in but was never directly in “service”. They were used all the way up until the 1980’s presumably in the mid 80’s. After that both of the M47’s were transported to two different museums on each theirside of the country.

These vehicles does still exist, one is located at the Norwegian army museum in Oslo and the other in Arquebus warhistorical museum wich is located in Haugesund in quite good shape.

In game
Due to the history behind this tank and it’s limited use, it could be a event vehicle or possibly a rare premium/reward from a battlepass.

I’m not sure how popular it will be as the Rank 5/7.3-7.7 BR is highly compressed and an unpleasant experience for the US, but I’ll say yes anyway.
