M44: Big-Bore Bulldog

Sure. It is cheaper. But is it a right thing to do? Hell no. And if we as a playerbase don’t like it, we need to show them that we don’t. Otherwise they will continue to push that garbage in

exactly how it should be, because once the copy + paste vehicles that have those similar roles are added, the incentive to add domestic designs is lessened because there’s already something there, meaning that gaijin can either ignore adding them because they arn’t needed, or they can extend the period of time to add them because again, something is already there so why add something else right now? It’s not about whether or not they WILL add them in the end; it’s about making sure they have the incentive to actually add them and give nations their domestic designs rather than being lazy and copying something over from someone else.

When dealing with individual tech trees of different nations, you should be embracing their differences and seeing the unique vehicles they each have in certain roles; not diluting the tech trees with the same vehicle over and over again, unless its a last resort or unless everything else that fills that same role and capabilities made by the country in question has been added already.

Britain should get British vehicles before it gets more American ones or ones from other nations.
America should get more American vehicles before it gets more from other nations.
Germany should get German vehicles before they get ones from other nations.

The ONLY exception to this rule should be if the vehicle is made by a sub nation. For example for Britain, more domestically made South African or Indian vehicles. For Italy, more domestically made Hungarian vehicles. For Sweden, more domestically made Finnish vehicles. Basically focus on the domestic vehicles from the nations already in the tech trees before you add stuff that other nations have made and they purchased or later used unless it has some heavy historical significance for that specific nation; like the Sherman Firefly for example.

Domestically made over Copy and Paste.

Supposedly the M44 used the name “Cardinal” in UK service. This means the M44 in the UK tree has the wrong name(last I checked).

Tho to would also share this name with the M40, which is its own fun time. As things sharing a name is a pain. Looks at the US and its 10 different tanks called Patton

Was an bug report submitted to correct it? If not we know the odd of it being right is slim. If yes. Then i would say 50/50.

not sure, I think @l2ulan was working on one

I don’t think any bug reports accepted now to drop will be implemented.

Ive waited 2 weeks for a bug report on the Scimitar to even been seen. This update is extremely rushed for Christmas so don’t expect any fixes until new years

Probably longer than that.

IMO, this vehicle is fine for nations like Japan since we already have the Type 75 and Type 99. However, a lot of players are understandably frustrated since Gaijin uses copy-paste with the promise of more unique vehicles later, but such vehicles only come years later.

the ropes in-front of the scimitars tracks still bothers me… hugely unsafe and no crew would be allowed to do that without heavy discipline, and to portray the vehicle like that implies its operated by a undisciplined, untrained crew. I’d like to see them tidy it up, it’s offensive.
