It just seems like perfect counter to Russian armor around that BR, so I suspect that life of these tanks will get harder with M44.
Why give it to Germany???
Where is Wespe?
Where is Bison?

Its more ridiculous when considering how Germany has 101 research tree tanks while the US has 81 before this update, They can get a copy-paste from a nation far smaller than them but if you suggest copy pasting the other way around people will suddenly have a problem with it.
Ground sim is a huge mess with all of these clones running around, Low-mid tier is just full of constant team killing.

I’m tired of the Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V when there are still vehicles in the nations these are going to that require vehicles made by THOSE countries that fill the same role and would be at the same BR’s.
Britain still needs;
Priest
Sexton
Instead they get the M44.
Britain still needs;
Abott
AS90
Instead they get the M109.
Gaijin should focus more on adding vehicles made by the nation the vehicle goes to, rather than throwing another nations vehicle in there to fill the gap (unless they were EXTENSIVELY used eg. Priest), and do the exact same role and capabilities due to laziness. Don’t get me wrong, its nice to see these vehicles added, but I really wish they would focus on nation specific vehicles first; because doing this, removes the incentive to add more vehicles that add essentially nothing to the tech trees in the way of capabilities because they took the lazy rout.
TL;DR - Before you add something made by Germany to Italy or made by America to Britain, why don’t we look if Italy or Britain made something themself that fills the same role, and add that instead? rather than copying things from other TT’s that arn’t made by them.

Unlikely; because now we have been given something around that BR its unlikely we will see anything like that for a long time to come. Britain are still waiting for the light tank line they were promised years ago, and now they have the M109, there’s no sign of the AS90 or Abott coming anytime in the future because its so similar.
but it can fight back with its own its a duel
M7 Priest is American it’s a tank destroyer made from an M3 Lee chassis… hypocrite " Britain still needs an American vehicle" bruh

look in history books and see how common this was used in comparison to the Priest. that’s what I’m trying to say. It’s like they did a google search of “did Britain use the M44” and when the result is “yes” they use it, rather than looking into how extensively it was used.

and the priest was used in a war where tanks were used extensively the m44 only really saw vietnam and that was not a place where tanks were used extensivly

Vietnam, a place where Britain wern’t. Britain had 52 M44’s (known as Cardinal) and never saw any active combat, as they were stationed in Germany as far as I’m aware. The issue isn’t with America getting the M44, they made it and used it in Vietnam. but they instantly gave it to Britain without possibly thinking what else could go to that slot that Britain made themselves or used more extensively; and instead decided to copy and paste.

Why is germany getting another american SPH instead of it’s own?i am getting sick of the non-stop copypaste gajin is feeding us with. Is modelling 1 or 2 more SPH’s that hard? This recent cutting corners from gajin is disgusting.
Why add a unique SPH to another nation if everyone can get an M109 and M44?
I can understand it in Italy or Japan since i don’t think they had anything of their own, but why Germany or Brittain? Or Israel in case of M109s?
All of these nations had countless vehicles of their own, copypaste here is impossible to justify.

Even if, just because something was used isn’t enough of justification to add copypaste.
Only reason for any copypaste ever existing in the game should be filling trees that have no vehicles of certain type of their own. If country had their own designs, even if they used billions of other countries’ vehicles, domestic variants should be heavily prioritized.
Why do we even have separate nations at this point if every single one of them gets same vehicles due to gajin’s laziness?
I really wanted to see the M44 in the game. But alongside of Hummel, Wespe, Sexton and M7 priest for other nations, not copypasted into every single tree

Germany could’ve gotten the A1 variant but I don’t know what was different between that one and the base model

Absolutely this. Copy-paste should only be used to fill gaps that can’t be filled with domestic equipment.

Yeah Germany has loads of indigenous vehicles to cover this BR.
The GDR operated the T-34-85 and IS-2 post war also, will we see them copy pasted into the German tree?
Yep. Even the French didn’t need this. They’ve got several potential SPG’s as well:
- AMX-PRA
- Cn-155-F3-Am
- Lorraine 155 mm model 1951
So we’ve got 3 pointless copy-pastes for nations that had alternatives.
