M41 DK1 - Danish army's modified Walker Bulldog

I still don’t know how to identify the stabilization system inside the turret or in the photos you shared, it would be useful to know how.

It’s a pretty cool tank. It’s quite similar to the Israeli modernization of the Chilean M41, although this one looks more advanced. I’d love to see it in the game on the Swedish tree.

I think we need more modernized M41s in general

That looks awesome af man, Does it not get any form of stabilisation though

It does, multiple sources say so but I’m not sure if it’s fully stabilized
(edit) Found something about it being fully stabilized but also an old forum on war thunder said it’s not, so yeah it’s like a 50/50 if it’s gonna get stabilization or not… Like with every tank in the game lmao

I really hope it is!!!

I would love to see this added. Maybe around a br of 7.7/8.0 with out a stabilizer and 8.0/8.3 with it. +1

Would be great to have I find the modified bull dogs to be interesting as the bull dog came in at a strange time.

This is a really cool Nordic M41D. It even has its own unique look with the stowage racks on the turret!
A nice alternative to the Ikv 91 if we get in in the game.

Last year I was able to take a bunch of photos of different M41 DK-1, also a video of one driving past. Just some more photos of the tank.

Photos of M41 DK-1

Photos of ammunition and plaque for the box for its sight

Video (sorry, it was quite windy)

Btw was this in Aalborg by chance? It’s been a while since I was over there

If the penetration is decent and the Danish M41D receives a stabilized gun, it would be a decent light tank around 8.0 - 8.3, depending on the APFSDS postpen performance and how reliable it is to pen, that is.
But based on War Thunder’s damage models, the small caliber APFS-DS tends to bounce often or just do little-to-no-damage after penetration.

The outdoor photos were at Åben Hede 2025 in Kallesmærsk, Oksbøl, while the indoor photos were from Pansermuseet also in Oksbøl.

The APFSDS, from what I’ve read, is the same as on the M41D.

Damn, I missed it then if it was at Okabøl, guess I’ll need to go back
