A +1 from me, would be a nice vehicle to add to the Swedish lineup
Yeas, more LRF light tanks >:)
Is this stabilized if not then it will be like the Taiwanese one
Unfortunately nothing in the description of the tank indicates a stabilizer, only the addition of “new electric gun controls”. Perhaps it has better targeting speed than other Bulldogs? Anyway, would be a cool and unique Danish addition to the Swedish TT despite probably being utterly useless like it’s sad Taiwanese cousin :(
@Til_Dovre_Faller Do you happen to know the resolution of the thermal sights? I’m instinctively guessing gen 1 like the M41D, but still hoping for gen 2 :)
Unfortunately, I don’t know, haven’t found any information about which night vision it is, and stabilization isn’t mentioned anywhere that I can see, can try to find something more, contact someone

Would love to see it in game, ive been inside one, such a cool vehicle
The Danish M41DK-1 is equipped with an electric weapon and turret drive ystem provided by AEG, which is also used in the Brazilian Tamoyo III tank prototype, which has a Kollmorgen/Ferranti’s FCS and AEG weapon control system with a gun stabilizer.

↑ Inside the Tamoyo III turret. Note that the gunner’s dual handle/commander’s single handle in its AEG stabilization system is the same as the M41DK-1.
Regarding the sights of the M41DK-1, its gunner uses the same Ericsson integrated laser sight as the Centurion Mk.V-2 DK.

It’s understood that the mantlet-mounted thermal imager is the Texas Instruments Man-portable Common Thermal Night Sight (MCTNS), which comes from the TOW Missile System’s AN/TAS-4 (I believe AN/PVS-4 is just a typo, as this is a gen II night vision scope)
As a Dane, I’d love a Danish tank in the game
Do we know how much pen the new APFSDS has?
Couldn’t find any concrete sources but some say around 310 mm, so it’s not like game breaking or anything
310 would actually be pretty good if it’s like the M60A1 (AOS)'s shell and has good performance against angles.
Found something here, they are talking about it being able to pen 250 mm but that may not be the APFSDS-T
(It’s also from 2004)
Found some more
I still don’t know how to identify the stabilization system inside the turret or in the photos you shared, it would be useful to know how.
It’s a pretty cool tank. It’s quite similar to the Israeli modernization of the Chilean M41, although this one looks more advanced. I’d love to see it in the game on the Swedish tree.
I think we need more modernized M41s in general
That looks awesome af man, Does it not get any form of stabilisation though
It does, multiple sources say so but I’m not sure if it’s fully stabilized
(edit) Found something about it being fully stabilized but also an old forum on war thunder said it’s not, so yeah it’s like a 50/50 if it’s gonna get stabilization or not… Like with every tank in the game lmao
