M3A1 Stuart - Leased Light Armor

I surely thought it would’ve went into the British tree before or along with it, but here we are. I have it myself and it’s not all that great if it makes anyone feel any better about the situation. I understand the sentiment.
I totally expect Britain to get it very soon though.

And leopard 1s

It’s not like it’s even something difficult it would just be the same ship but with a different flag

I completely understand, it’s weird how Gaijin does things sometimes.

Were missing the M5 stuarts, which were like the m3 absolutely adored by British crews (mostly because we used them in Africa and its engine air intake was through the crew compartment) so I’m really surprised its not in the tree foldered with the stuart 3.

We are missing an obtainable grant medium tank too, its so blatantly bad that the Australian camo was put on the British grant in the American tree (its also the wrong model of m3 for Australia). lend lease vehicles have been neglected overall unless its favouring a certain nation

Cant forget how the leopard was everywhere the centurion wasn’t

I find it strange that the Grant I is still a premium in the U.S. tree but an unobtainable event vehicle in the British tree.

It’s better that it isn’t added.

The less copy paste stuarts the better. The only other nation that has the M3A1 right now is Britain.

its a theme for britain, needed and super notable vehicles (I’m not referring to meme vehicles like TOG) were made event vehicles essentially kneecapping lineups for players that weren’t playing in the mid 2010s. Grant, Excelsior, buccaneer s1, AEC mk2, Jet provost (strikemaster), Centurion mk2 and mk5/1 were all made too expensive to get (or flat out unobtanium for console) for events and BP when there isn’t often a directly comparable TT or premium at the same BR so some lineups are just lost from them not being there

no it isn’t, the more vehicles the more choice. better

and we weren’t the only two to use it. Im not gonna claim that the dutch, Israelis or Swedish shouldn’t get the centurion because its C&P. there’s notable reasoning

Copy paste is bad. Why even ave different nations when they all have the same vehicles?

Why would they get the Cent? The Cent wouldn’t be filling any gaps.

I’m hoping one of my other posts gets approved soon, along with it the M17 MGMC and M3A1, all being 2.7 BR vehicles would make a great pack.

Its actually like their main MBT at said BRs so was in fact filling a gap. I hope at least a mk3 and mk10 appear in the french tree (until BeNeLux gets its own tree) so that a notable vehicle in their military use is seen, same as I’m happy to see gladiator, meteor and spitfire in the tree. the centurion wouldn’t be filling a gap but more so breaking up using one of the half dozen AMX 50 style tanks in that BR region

+1 I don’t think there’s really an argument for “copy-paste” here. It’s not a coming as part of a three-vehicle “subtree”, it’s not captured nor trialed, this was a tank used in combat by the Soviet Union proper in the thousands. And also- it’s a Stuart. It’s not like it’s a Leopard getting plastered everywhere for top-tier “balance”, it’s just a run-of-the-mill low-tier light tank. And Stuarts are already rather unobtrusively present in multiple other nations that had less significant service history with the vehicle.
Anyways +1 as a premium (because it’s still lend-lease and not domestic)

I appreciate your understanding without mindlessly saying “copy and paste” XD
Yeah it was fielded pretty heftily by the Red Army.

+1 as an event vehicle

Normally I am pretty opposed to copyslop vehicles, but unlike something like the Soviet M18 or M26, they actually operated Stuarts in a fair quantity. I’d be ok with this tossed into some low-rank pack alongside domestic vehicles, such that it adds to the Soviet low ranks instead of diluting it.
